Players who might improve us

I think if we brought these 4 players by the next summer window, id be happy:

Robinson LB
Livramento RB
Ederson CM
Wharton CDM

I dont think any of these are unattainable, Livramento may be the most difficult with Newcastle, and one im sure there are other RWB/RM options Im not thinking of.

With this wide fullback system, and the 3 midfielders playing deeper, this would have us set.

Im not even remotely thinking of attacking players even if KdB leaves, we are stacked there.

And the CB issue is fine with the new guys coming in and needing time.

Just 4 signings (or positions) and we are good to go next season.

It may be a one off system.

Even in Peps other systems thesr players would still be good.

I do hope the system isnt a one off on a more personal level, I think it gets the best out of the squad:

1) It asks for the wingers to played inverted more and be primary goal threats instead of wide creators

2) It takes away the burden of goals from our midfielders who cant really do it as much, and when playing deeper, makes it easier for them to focus on their best asset of controlling the middle

3) Gives Gvardiol and Nunes a big task of running up and down the flanks... but I think that suits them tbh. This is primarily why I put attacking fullbacks in my list to buy.

I know Pep plays lots of systems throughout a season, but usually he plays one of them alot more consistently, I hope we stick to this.

O’Reilly, Wright… Nunes
Id love to see O Reilly play more, but I dont think Pep trusts him enough.

Nunes doesnt seem trusted in the middle.

Its possible with both, even if better physically, Peps problem is with their first touch being slightly below our required level, hence playing them in defender spots where its not as required to have an elite first touch.

Im also talking more about an immediate starter who is better than what we got and for the future.

Id you switched Ederson for Tijanni Reindjers, that would be perfect for me
