To be honest that didn’t really work. We had even less control with him on. The anomaly was he scored but you’re hardly going to be selecting for his goal threat or assists

I agree we were shocking in the 2nd half at PSG, but I think it was at least partly down to things unrelated to Grealish: we got tired (it has happened many times this season) and Dias got injured. Without both Dias and Kova we were very weak in the middle.

Yeah, probably true

The fact that Pep played him in a hugely important game vs PSG means he hasn't given up on him completely. There's a small chance that he starts vs Arsenal instead of KDB and Savinho to give us more control. Unlikely but not impossible.
Given how well he played against Forest and how well he usually keeps the ball, the fact that Lewis, of all players, came on instead of him must mean he’s done?

Becoming a bit of a myth this control thing he's supposed to bring. If he's half as good as some City fans think he is then surely giants of European football are circling, with big money bids at the ready considering his current situation.

not optimistic we can recoup lot of the 100m we spent on him if we decide to cash in on him in the summer. most teams could buy him either limited by PSR or cheap owners. and his salary is a big chunk, he wont just accept 50-60% of salary to play for Tottenham for example.

when you spend this big fee and salary you want that player to be a star player for years to come. not someone that is becoming an unused sub and start only for games vs Salford and Leyton going forward.

Even in other games he’s played this season, his performances haven’t been as poor as some others we’ve had to watch. Foden was a passenger until a month ago, de Bruyne and Gundo are (let’s face it) looking washed and Bernardo/Kova can only be leveraged so much at this point. Sure he’s not been contributing for a while from the wing, but he’s not a winger and never been that prolific of a scorer. The opportunity for him if Pep is willing is he does offer things we’re missing in the middle.

Jack is a hard sell because of fee and wages, think itll be a loan in the summer unless Villa do an emotional one.

Given our increasing riches in wide men, and the reluctance of Pep to play Jack centrally, his days for City do look numbered, sadly

Remember that time he played midfield and we looked like a fucking competent team again? And then it never happened again, even as a sub?

I don't know if Jack's had it away with Pep's former Mrs. or what but there's clearly something gone on behind the scenes when he isn't even coming on for half hour to try something different when we're getting absolutely shafted yet again.

Fucking bizarre. Sell him, pointless having a player who never plays. Just keep sticking Kova and Gundo and Bernie out there Pep, it's working a marvel.

He played against juve and was shit.

Grealish isn’t the answer he is unfit, unreliable and shit. Get over him

This. I don't get Pep. He did so well against Forrest in the middle, Pep even said he made a mistake not playing him there, and he never played there since. Make it make sense.

The whole team was dogshit. Funny how one of the worst team performances of the season is the shining example people use to label Grealish as shit.

Can only assume he's doing fuck all in training.

One good game in the middle and one just as bad. God knows what the third would be like.

I have watched grealish play shit over and over. He doesn’t score, he doesn’t assist, he doesn’t take players on he doesn’t affect games. He missed games because he doesn’t train well

But he is good looking and people fancy him or see themselves in him so it’s all good. He is shit.
