Fortunately her incompetence will soon remove her from her position, although she should already be out due to her dishonesty.
Living standards have actually fallen if you allow for the population growth according to the taxpayers alliance.Sorry 0.1% isn't anything like good news
Taxpayers alliance sounds a bit shady. Is it one of those murky think tanks?Living standards have actually fallen if you allow for the population growth according to the taxpayers alliance.
14 going 15 years without a pay rise to match inflation can't have helped. Shit state of affairs.Living standards have actually fallen if you allow for the population growth according to the taxpayers alliance.
Check them out, they are independent and have done alot of good in getting governments to be more accountable. The BBC have also just repeated that claim by the way.Taxpayers alliance sounds a bit shady. Is it one of those murky think tanks?
Yes it is. 55 Tufton Street. Never once complained when the Tories were pissing money up the wall.Taxpayers alliance sounds a bit shady. Is it one of those murky think tanks?
Did they speak out on that sham Rwanda thing that cost millions ?Check them out, they are independent and have done alot of good in getting governments to be more accountable. The BBC have also just repeated that claim by the way.

They did actually, all the time, but don't let the truth get in the way.Yes it is. 55 Tufton Street. Never once complained when the Tories were pissing money up the wall.
I assume he's talking about Labour "loosening" immigration controls.
It's factually correct that immigration was over 1m for a couple of years recently, and that net migration towards the end of the last Tory government was near to 1m - almost 3 times the average of the last twenty years.
However, that was a deliberate policy of the Tory party, with the majority of people coming in either students, or to work in social/medical care. Both sectors were struggling with Covid and Brexit happening around the same time, and clearly they decided that a reset was needed. The Tories had already begun to lower those figures, and it's likely they'll fall pretty quickly to nearer that long term average. The Office for National Statistics is predicting that net migration will fall drastically, to around that long term average, by the middle of this Parliament.
If you're suggesting the opposite. That Labour have loosened things further, and we're going to see net migration going up instead of down, then you'll need to explain why.
Have you tried coming up with a workable solution to anything or are you like a few others in here who are professional moaners?I assumed the 'horseshit' was the factually correct stuff about the more than million people coming over but if he thinks it's horseshit that Labour have loosened immigration controls, amongst other things, the Labour Gov have announced:
Net migration should fall from the ridiculously high numbers of the previous gov't because of the actions the previous gov't took just before they left office but that doesn't mean Labour haven't loosened border controls (if there's any left!) since they've come to power.
- a widening of the asylum scheme in Afghanistan to make it easier for more Afghani asylum seekers to come to the UK (can't imagine what could go wrong there...turns news over)
- the lowering of the minimum salary restriction that the previous Gov had set at £37000 to £29000
- the scrapping of the Rwanda deterrent which led to a surge in small boat crossings straight after Labour got into power
They did actually, all the time, but don't let the truth get in the way.
You mean the Tories let in a million immigrants with barely any effect on "living standards"?Living standards ha
ve actually fallen if you allow for the population growth according to
the taxpayers alliance.
Independent of whom?Check them out, they are independent and have done alot of good in getting governments to be more accountable. The BBC have also just repeated that claim by the way.
Yes, the last lot had an open borders policy and it's living standards. And no that argument does not stack up. If immigrants were contributing more than they take out the GDP ler person would go up not down. You mean the Tories let in a million immigrants with barely any effect on "living standards"?
It's not living standards anyway, it's per capita GDP. That suggests most of the immigrants must be "contributors" and it's all us old folk living so long that's the drag on growth.
Governments? I'm very surprised you haven't heard of them.Independent of whom?
