I and many other blues were uplifted by that comment from Pep. His tone and manner clearly showed total confidence in what was to come and that he is also relishing the prospect of delivering his own verdict on the red shirt media ratpack. (Also Khaldoon said something very similar at the end of last season.)

The last thing I saw was some bollocks about City shooting themselves in the foot by requiring interest on historic shareholder loans because, apparently, the same may happen with historic equity investments, or something equally absurd. And he is supposed to be an accountant......

He won't do anything when this is over except close his account. He isn't that invested in any of this, he is just making a play to become a go-to finance expert like all these other "experts" who have pitched up in the last couple of years.
