Did I read something earlier may have even been put up here, about utd not being able to sustain all the losses, hence more lay offs ,may have been a quote from Barada about losses over the last 5 years,if that’s correct would they not be failing some of these ffp/psr rules in place then ..

Marks and Spencer in Sale used to supply the food for the youth teams when they played away from home. Each player would choose their meal and it was heated on the coach on the way back. I knew the guy who dropped it off at Carrington.

Five years later, no way this is happening now!

Not for ‘this manchester united we’re talking about’

It's quite baffling isn't it.

The total job losses from the two rounds of redundancies represents 40% of the total workforce.

I find it pretty inconceivable that 40% of the workforce were all blagging a living doing pointless and unnecessary non-jobs.

And I find it equally inconceivable that any business can shed 40% of its workforce and carry on functioning and operating at the same level it always has.

Thought it was only the players blagging a living?

Man Utd staff blagging a living doing pointless and unnecessary jobs, you say?
It writes itself…….

The media is slowly waking up to the reality that the Rags are close to going bust. The Glazers are loaded with debt, so is INEOS, and so is MUFC. Unless they find a buyer they are doomed. Lovely.

Wait till someone looks at some of the sub contractor contracts. Not much tendering happens at the swamp. It has been jobs for the boys(Ferguson’s pals) for years. That club is rotten to the core and it has all been enabled by the PL. United have been exempt from proper scrutiny since the 1980s.

Brings a fukin huge grin to my ugly mug thinking about the demise of these cunts……never forget that banner guys

There’s an interesting snippet from a Caf thread discussion on their management & owners.

Some posters basically saying ‘this is manshernitid’ in regard to their debt, and then they get this dose of reality reply:

I’ve not heard this before, the same poster says it’s mentioned by Bloomberg, when pulled up on it…

I’d be interested to know whether our esteemed financial wizards know more about this?
