FPL - Fantasy Premier League - 2024/25

Not a bad 3 week AssMan run:

118 (Moyes 22) -> 99 (Emery 14) -> 100 (Emery 8) for 44 points total on that chip.

I could have moved to Glasner, but I wasn't keen on that matchup on paper or for taking the -4 it would have required in my situation. At least I wasn't boring on Slot or a fool to go to Arteta this GW. Fair play to anyone who moved to Glasner, glad it paid off for you (and I, indirectly with Munoz ;-)).

I'll take it and the rise to #3 in @Boo or Boo-urns league and the 11-1 in Cup wins over that span. Under 350K now overall, so doing a bit better than last year. ;-)

Areola as sub keeper (I have Martinez), Jacob Murphy and Munoz were the other big scorers. It's the first time this season I've had a lot of points on the bench so had to happen sooner or later.
 
Will be 75 so happy with that.

My bench:
Guehi - 5 points (will come in to replace haaland)
Enzo fernandez - points
Konate - 6 points

What could have been.

I only had 3 pts on the bench (Iwobi with 2 pts and Bednarek with 1 pt). Neither of them outscored players they could have taken the place of in my starting XI. Fabianski is my sub keeper, and Van Den Berg is my other sub.

I know its easy in retrospect but I'm not even sure what my thinking was with putting Foden in. More in hope than expectation I suppose.

Same here. I shipped out Palmer, who's been underperforming for the last few weeks, and also brought in Foden. Moving Palmer out wasn't the worst move, but Foden just didn't work. That's been reversed (Chelsea have Saints and Leicester in their next two games, both at home). I also replaced Gakpo, who's injured, with Marmoush.
 
Tempted to give the armband to Palmer for this GW. Chelsea home to Saints (dips home to Newcastle). If Palmer is half as good as his legion of fans on here say he is, he should be good for a decent haul against a pretty hopeless Southampton side.

He's obviously a great player but he is having a dry spell and not been involved in much lately. Home to Saints though is tempting. I've got Cucerella , tempted to go with him.

He's sporadic.

I've just done a wild card and built a team around Salad and Haaland, I also picked 3 arsenal players. It's looking like a really piss poor team after that weekend.

Question - if I play an AssMan chip now can a play a free hit the week after or do I have to let the chip run out?

Lettuce hope it works out for you. I'm going to hold off on my second wildcard for another while (even taking into account that I can't play it for the next two GWs anyway). I'm fairly okay with my team. But you never know what injuries are around the corner.

Fuck it, I'll leave the armband with Salah. It'd be nearly a crime having him in your XI, and not have him as captain.

Gambled last week by replacing Salah as captain with Kluivert, didn't end well, may as well double down with Palmer this week. What can possibly go wrong :/

I think you just have to accept Salad is having an incredible season. He can do now wrong write now.

Can he keep this intensity through to the end though?
