It goes against the grain to have someone from City's opponents in any given week in my team. I shipped out Solanke (for Evanilson) for that reason. Cost me 3 pts, that did. But I completely overlooked Porro. Luckily, even though they are somewhat dirty points.

Welp, good luck next week with managing THAT... I'll gladly take FPL pain at this point for the greater good, as unlikely as it is currently looking.

I might have to hold on to Salah; it'd be lunacy to let him go. Diaz and Robertson are expendable, mind (only 2 points combined). Might be time to combine selling Haaland with playing my wildcard.

Up to 60 pts now, with Pope (hopefully) playing tomorrow night. A clean sheet would be nice.

I toyed with the idea of getting Cunha (or Wood) in after selling Solanke (honestly, check a page or two back). Went with Evanilson in the end.

Wolves have had a shit run of games to start this season, stars like Cunha have not got just rewards with pts. He has had a good run a while....plenty of assists and goals.

Transferred out Porro and Watkins ahead of this weekend. Currently relying on an Isak hat-trick tomorrow to dig me out of that particular self-inflicted hole!

I had salad and Haaland at the start of the season. Had saka to but I'm left here with haaland and Palmer and it's all gone to shit.

I know as soon as I sell Haaland it will turn around for him. It's got to the point now where I need to do it.

My only decent return this week was the late BJohnson goal against us. Ffs.

Obvious in hindsight, felt after a break City would be their usual beast self and Haaland would get loads of chances (which he did) against a makeshift Spurs side that lost to Ipswich last match

I get a lot wrong with my selections in FPL. A LOT. But it was clear, even to me, that Salah would score points at St Mary's. Top vs bottom? Whereas Haaland isn't as clinical as Salah. Yeah, Spurs lost to Ipswich. Daft results happen, you know? Forest winning at Anfield, you beating the rags (okay, that may not be so strange), but Spurs have largely had our number for several years now. Given our recent form, yesterday wasn't THAT much of a shock (the score, maybe). Anyway, back to FPL matters. Don't be doing anything silly tomorrow night, like scoring. I want clean sheet bonus points for Pope.
