PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Not that it matters, I think, as CFG operates in EU countries through some of its subsidiary clubs but I am pretty sure from my time in Switzerland that Swiss law and EU law are closely aligned due to the various trade and other agreements between them.
Thanks for that detail.
I have no doubt that Tax Treaties exist for UK to most countries in Europe anyway to prevent double taxation of individuals so I'm sure Companies or Clubs in their own interests obey such legal Treaties.

This is a pretty specialised area of EU law. I imagine Tebas has received some pretty good advice before communicating a complaint. He may be a loathsome individual but I doubt he is an idiot.

As a layman's guess, I would say he may have a case against PSG but, even then, it's hard to imagine the EU getting involved when UEFA think they have them under control now. Very unlikely City would be caught up in this imho if only because of the state owned angle and the imminent clearing of sponsorship malpractice for the second time. But what do I know? :)
It's not that complicated really. What happened in 2023 when he submitted his complaint?

We beat his beloved Madrid to the champions league trophy. Source grapes and all that.

Think it's fair to say ever since Pep made the comment about a March announcement that he'd heard something substantial in terms of the process it was heading towards and to double down on that timeframe now is a good indicator.

Plus he's a genius most of the time so I'll stick with his assertion.
