But, but but..... even at the start of this season, everyone was still telling us he was a better prospect than Erling!!!

Life has been so bad to them recently that they are desperate for any of their players to be the next Haaland, De Bruyne or that their manager is going to be better than Pep. Remember back in the Autumn when they were rejoicing over Amorim beating Pep in the champions league. I bet there is some buyers remorse going on now.

Leaking for a reason they want to sell him they need home grown sales Gina bd Rashford go for a combined 100m that straight on the books will give them a big spend this summer!
if those 2 go for a 100m and thats the prices who the hell are they bringing in for that kind of money to replace them, they could go for gyokeres but that would be 3 quarters of that money gone straight away

It's not just 100m they can spend that 100m will amortised so they buy a player for 60m+wages of 10m a year think they you divide that to the amount of years they sign for!

seeing as they already owe 400m out tho, 100m in the coffers wont allow a 500m spend i wouldnt think.

I just watched last week's Overlap episode (I know..), and there was an entire segment of Neville laying into the United ownership & financial situation and spelling out just how dire everything is for them, it is brilliant viewing.

Is the **** still with the scruffy **** in the new stadium plans.

If you'd like a bit of financial drain circling speculation about United, head over to https://www.espn.com.sg/soccer/stor...120m-gamble-why-need-go-all-win-europa-league and read a great summary of each issue they face.

Basically if they don't win the Europa (or dont' go on a 11 game PL winning streak), they are really screwed, and if the same thing happens in 25/26 season (IMO), they could collapse under the negative financial pressures they'll be facing.

Need's putting to music that article but one thing he's missed out, which I've posted before, is that they have to start refinancing their debt in 2 years and they won't get the low interest rates they pay now (just under 4%), particularly if they're not getting CL income.

The interest on that debt could therefore balloon to something approaching £50m a year, on top of the loss of revenue. Their cashflow is going to take a huge whack. Hopefully it's terminal.
