Thanks PB, as you know ticketing / season tickets has such a huge knock on affect to so many other issues at the club we need them to engage with us. It's ludicrous that it's come to this, but whilst other clubs are announcing ticket prices for next year, all we're actually asking for is a date for the meeting to discuss our own.

When the date is set in the calendar we'll happily resume as normal.

I agree about Danny Wilson. I think he has the fans interests at heart, but his hands are tied by those directors above him at the club. He has to be seen to be doing his job, even though I think he doesn't always agree with everything he is being tasked to do by the directors above him.
 
Reading the OP, it says the letter was sent to our Chairman.
How was it sent? Letter or email?
Do you know it was received (read) by the Chairman or anyone else? If so, who? Have the club acknowledged receipt and said they’d reply in a certain time?

Not knocking anyone involved, and the answer may be elsewhere in 52 pages, just asking that’s all.

We're not trying to create an anti-City story but the club need to start engaging properly, particularly on really important issues like ticketing. The recent press release from Liverpool about their season ticket prize freeze credited a long and collaborative engagement with their own FAB for helping them come to that decision. To date we've had effectively none.

Don’t be fooled. Once people get to that level they have their own interests at the forefront of everything they do. Promotions and Bonuses rule!

Our chairman has to be careful about opening emails since one he allegedly opened caused some problems.

All managed to get tickets one way or another after putting feelers out all over the place but I think only one - me - actually qualified for a ticket on their own points. I reckon if that game came up again next season, more of that group would now qualify for a ticket in their own right. Plus 2 of those 6 are in the 18-25 bracket so that would give them a better chance of getting one too. Although I'm a FOC, I do think the introduction of ringfencing a small percentage of away tickets for 18-25 year olds is one of the few positive moves that City have introduced in recent years.

Yeah bud I'd expect no different from you guys but without this getting an airing it's irrelevant to the club, they'll just chuck a few ringers in and be all happy clappy.

You guys who are active are trying really hard, I'd have ended up losing my SC at the first meeting.

I sent it via email on behalf of the several groups involved. I know that the Club have accessed it, as I’ve spoken to Danny Wilson about it in the interim.

We sent it over four weeks ago, and received confirmation from the Club that we’d have the meeting on season tickets over three weeks ago. Other than an assurance that they were working on it, and that there’d be commensurate time between the meeting and announcement, we’ve had little progress since.

Yes, there will ways be that. But I do think some directors do have the best interests of their work force and customers at heart

When I started working for the company I still work for, the UK CEO was a staff person. He knew me by name and never forgot my name. He always had time for the staff. Saying hello and talking to them.

He once hauled a manger in to the managers office due to complaints about him that had been received at head office. The CEO spoke to the staff in the canteen first, then went in the managers office and closed the office door. For the rest for the week the manager had 1 on to 1 meetings with every member of staff. We were allowed to say what we wanted to the manager. Another manager was there as a witness. There was no comeback from the manager. A few months later the manger was flirted to another store.

This story about “the club” taking action against 160+ fans and monitoring others is a small % of the problem the biggest guilty party is the Club itself how many of the tickets that are xfer to friends and family go to away fans I’d suggest nearly none, but how many go to away fans when we choose to give our tickets back for resale I’d suggest these are the tickets going to away fans. So once again punish the minority and overlook the real issues selling our tickets for secondary profit taking to any fucker who applies
 
Well done to City Matters for finally telling them where to go.

My gut feeling is that price increases for next season have already been agreed and signed off by the top guns.

They are probably hanging fire for the hopefully positive charges verdict to create so much euphoria that it diverts attention away from the issue.
 
City seem to see how the season had gone before setting prices.

Some of the most drastic increases came for kids a week after winning the FA Cup and CL qualification was certain after beating Bolton.

I think they will depend on what competitions we are playing in and if we win the FA Cup or not.

Whilst I can see the ST issue is marginalising a lot of fans and families, discussion on prices was always off the table for City Matters.

TBH I can't see that happening as he's been at City since starting in the ticket office at Maine Road and working his way up at City.

Saying that, if Scruffy Jim and Omar came calling, showed him the vision of a new stadium, offered him better employment terms and conditions, and more importantly, offered him a more hands on role in his new position at United, he might be tempted?

From a City point of view, it would be a big loss.
