TV Series

Just watching the new series of "The Bay" and spotted that Shaun Evans ( Endeavour) is the director

Watched season one and two of The Devil's Hour, it's either brilliantly put together written or it's trying to be to clever for its own good?! Not sure really?

There is a final season three coming out late October maybe that will make things a lot clearer!?

I hear you i watched the lot just to see how it went, I judge myself for it. Let us know what you think after the last one.

Well I got to the end of series two of Gangs of London. There’s no doubting it is one of shittest crime series ever written. But in a strange way I still kind of enjoyed it and will almost certainly watch the third series when it comes out.

I’m really not sure why though. Some of the plot lines just made no sense. And the characters are so all over the place. What Elliott did to Billy a perfect example. Nothing that we’ve seen about his character previously would have led him to doing something like that.

I read a review that I thought made sense. It said that as the show progressed, it just became more and more about the fight scenes. To the point where the stories leading up to them seemed more like they were written as an inconvenient necessity to get to the main focus of a good old bit of violence.

Roll on series 3.

just watched a thousand blows which was really good although i think the characters need developing a bit more and started watching severance which is just batshit.

That pretty much covers it perfectly, the end of series 2 was one of the worst plot developments I've ever seen.

Anyhow my shrink thinks we are making good progress and hopefully I won't regress into watching series 3.

Fingers crossed:-)

It might be totally mental but I don’t think I’ve ever watched a series with so much depth.

New episode is out. It’s a slow one but, a bit like a jigsaw, it feels like it’s starting to come together

Just finished Lincoln lawyer, thought season 3 was dragging on last two episodes were brilliant great TV,
Is Mayor of Kingstown worth a watch?

Breathless
Miniseries about a UK hospital at the first stages of covid. How crazy it gets.
It shows how dumb and stupid the conspiracy theorists were in trying to undermine the very brave NHS staff.
Joanne Froggatt stars, very good performance as doctor.
