At the end Mbappe said no specifically it's because Manchester City. He never have problem playing for Pep but he have problem playing for us.

Great player, but he can go fuck off with that kind of thinking.

Think to be fair the main problem he had with us was we weren't real Madrid. It was no secret he always wanted to be a Madrid player.

He's definitely been in every fantasy draft (9 out, 6 in) I've had so far.., I'm hopeful but not confident we close it out.

The Wirtz stuff is intriguing. I assumed he was nailed on to Bayern but there’s a few conflicting signals. Leverkusen want him to stay and extend and I believe based on (flimsy) reports Bayern and Real are keen to get him summer 26. Plus he will be very expensive, probably £40-£50m higher than Bayern’s record signing. It might just mean there’s an opportunity to get him this summer.

Obviously we’re trying hard to persuade him and from what I’ve read here Leverkusen don’t want to sell to Bayern. Doesn’t mean that if he decides to leave this summer Real or Bayern don’t alter course to avoid losing out. Fingers crossed we have a chance.

yeah, he has a clothing line that Frimpong wears and a few players are involved in (I think). He's definitely got links.

yeah, i was gonna put that but he's clearly saying he's hearing this wont go away, so things maybe changing or we're pushing anyway. so nothing really to call him on tbf.

I think we are trying to do everything in our power to get him.

The one thing I think we have going for us is Leverkusen doesn't want to sell him to Bayern. I suspect the only way Bayern gets him is if they pay a massive transfer fee to Leverkusen. Maybe in the 110 to 120 range. We know Bayern and Madrid hate paying gargantuan transfer fees. Both clubs act like that is beneath them.

If he doesn't move to Bayern in the early summer we might have a chance.

Yes..with the ability to run....football is again progressing....to be at the top players need both....whichvis why our midfield while still technically good is failing badly
