It actually seems wrong to press like for this post and the one you are responding to but I totally understand your sentiments. Condolences to both of you. :-)
 
Am I being thick here or is there surely no way we don’t get some sort of insight into the verdict as a result of this PL meeting today? How could there not be?

Yeah, it is being sold as a fairytale isn't it. Yet the admitted guilt, spent more than they should of and was deducted points. Nobody has once said this season that they have cheated their way to this seasons position.

If we were in attendance we might hear rumours but it will be a closed meeting.

If Masters is asked by the public about the verdict he's going to say that he cannot comment on the verdict as it is the responsibility of the commission, and he we will hear when we will hear. Worth keeping an eye on.
 
We are coming to the end of this road but there will be more to navigate as long as there are American owners of Premier League clubs. This all started because the Americans saw an opportunity to divvy up the Premier League riches. City being bought by the Sheikh and turned into the most professionally run club in the world spoilt that plan. The next plan was to go through the courts, a normal American tactic, after making up rules to singularly stop City and any who came after us. Unfortunately whilst there are American owners of Premier League clubs litigation will be normal. Untill, someone with a pair of bollocks stands up to them, which with the PL voting and familiarity system now entrenched will never happen. My opinion is there will be no evidence on the major breaches and hopefully the independent panel can see through the bxllshxt with the rest.

For me life experiences like these really put my mind into perspective.

As for my club, I love city, always will no matter what. I understand the importance of the decision to some, but my perspective is one of that the whole thing is just background noise and attempt to disregard anything and everything we’ve achieved. It’s all Propaganda and game playing about a sport. And ultimately, Money rules and certain people don’t like we’ve taken their share. Boohoo.

To me there are far more important and emotional things in life to worry about than what some PL rule says.
