Without security guarantees any deal is worthless. This deal only works if those investing in Ukraine know their investment is backed with guarantees.
If the US doesn’t fully arm Ukraine, including Intelligence, then any deal is worthless because it’s never going to happen.
To extort someone they have to be around to extort.
No but I think if the bridge were to be blown, that gives him the perfect out and he can make Ukraine out to be the bad guy so the sympathy Ukraine currently has would be no more from many.
