Open Letter on Season Tickets and Pricing | Club announce price freeze on "general admission season tickets & PL match tickets" for next season (p163)

It's actually very brave of him. He's burning bridges with the club with this stream. Really need to get behind 1894, food bank, trade union blues, Big Steve and the CM reps who boycotted.

The ones that didn't and the ones who voted on behalf of the OSC to stay in need to do the right thing as soon as possible.

So what if the club kick you off the CM board, so what if the OSC lose their privileges, there's too much going wrong right now for them to stay silent and bottle it.

Seconded, can't see Steve on CityTV after this. He's got some bollocks on him, something that can't be said for KP and the OSC8.

Well Pep has said the team don’t deserve the bonus for the club World Cup so maybe they could forego an increase in SC and use that money to freeze them?

Apologies if someone has already suggested this. I’ve been out and only just read the report of Pep’s Press Conference.

Fine for him to say keep your season ticket. Mine will be close to a grand next season and what tipped me over the edge this season was the amount of "liverpool" around me on half and half scarves and actual lfc supporters
I ain't paying for that
I've had enough and won't be renewing
Soriano will be happy as he can sell the seat for £80-£100 plus whatever the tourist spends in the shop
What he will be missing out on, as Steve said on his channel, is a very vociferous supporter getting right behind the City team, helping to drive them over the line

Disgrace the OSC chairman and there’ll be people on here, who will back him. That’s fine. However, if has any decency or principals whatsoever, he would get on board with the majority. No other reason I can see, he’s not, other than, he’s being well looked after by the club. Sold his soul it appears.

Well said pal, my thoughts are exactly the same as yours.
I'd have packed it in couple of seasons ago,if I didn't get my season card at the discounted over - 65 rate.

Maybe the club are waiting for the outcome of the FFP hearings. They wouldn’t want to announce a freeze on ticket prices or even a discount for youngsters or pensioners and then find out we will be given huge sanctions which might result in a huge exodus of players and fans if we got a huge points deduction or relegation even. Interesting that the meeting is scheduled for next Thursday. I do sympathise with the fans re ticket pricing policy, but I suggest wait and see until we know more. As for Scousers at the home end, we know how much corruption goes on in Liverpool, so there might be a black market going on where some Mancs are bribed to sell on tickets, so it isn’t all down to the club. Other big clubs have the same issues and several charge far more for season tickets than City.

Just trying to be objective from a distance. Wait until the outcome of Thursday’s meeting, and make your own decisions.

So the club is going to use us to pay for their shortcoming. Gtf.

That post shows how little time you've spent at the Etihad.

Yes he said keep it and sell it to a friend privately, keep it with a proper blue.

I’ve just bought a junior ticket for the next three home games, as they all suddenly seem to be on sale again. All in the sane block in North Stand level 1.

Leicester- £18
Palace - £28
Villa -£38

The prices just seem to be so random these days. Charging over 50% more for Villa than Leicester, seems bizarre. Both midweek. Neither what you’d call particularly attractive opposition. We don’t even know when Villa is going to be yet do we?

Maybe they’re worried it will get shifted to the end of the season and it might be a fifth place shoot out, that they don’t want to undersell?
I didn't know that there were sane blocks anywhere in the ground .....

Don't know why the club just doesn't have the new stand as a tourist/corporate section take back all the season tickets from agencies in other parts of the ground and list them as new season tickets if offical partners want to sell tickets to away fans/ tourists at ridiculous rates make it all in 1 stand and let us get an atmosphere and proper match experience in the other 3 stands?

I admit I haven’t spent much time at the Etihad, but the criticisms here seem similar to those of other big clubs. It seems like people either accept the status wuo or leave and go the way of Bury.

The only thing that might change the club's position on pricing is ticket sales.

At the moment, it looks shite for our next two home games with thousands of tickets left, even at £30.

They've bolloxed it up big time with a potential 8K more to sell next year.

If I was their main money man, I would be telling them to have a radical rethink.

Nail them to the fucking wall mate. Explain to them in real terms, citing replies all over social media and on here, at how the anger is growing in the fanbase.
They dont understand that they're gambling with the reputation of the club because once we do start protesting then every two bit journalist will have a quote from long term season ticket holders and fans about hoe these people in Abu Dhabi have bought and stolen our club. Make them understand what happens when the locals turn on the club in terms of reputational damage because they dont seem to get it.
And also make sure they understand that the fans are on the frontline of the 115 charges battle. We have to put up with being labelled chests all the time - so don’t fucking destroy the soul of the club entirely.
It was summed up in as small way when I was going to the Feyernoord game and started talking to the blue next to me who it turned out had watched us everywhere in about 50 stadiums (he must have been 70 or so) and said his wife left him 10 years ago due to his love of City.
Fast forward to the Real game and talking to the lad next to me who had come as a Real fanboy and asked me is £150 the normal price and did I pay that?
To which I relied my friend of over 40 years gave me his ticket as he couldn’t go

Well said Big Steve, every word 100% We will only take so much and it’s getting close to breaking point, could be pushes over the edge depending upon the outcome of the “emergency meeting”
There are people in power at the club who see it as a business and have to meet targets, their first line will only tell the executives what they want them to know. Khaldoon will not have any idea of the situation the power is ours and any proposed action needs to get proper support and this is the issue the vast majority of “legacy fans” won’t be aware
