No, he was wished well and cheered on his last game for us. Being a complete **** afterwards contributed to any abuse.
To be fair, there were quite a few City supporters foaming at the mouth about him leaving before anything was said or acted out on the pitch.

Also which is often forgot, he scored a really good goal against Villa for us, didn't celebrate. Scored against us for Liverpool and celebrated. Milner also got away with zero abuse in the media, for letting his contract run down for a sizable signing on fee, to go and play CM at Liverpool (where he spent his first seasons there at full back) in the same summer Sterling was vilified for gaining them a 50m transfer fee.
Contrast the treatment Sterling got in the press, on the TV, online and at matches after coming to City for a £50 million + fee. All Raheem wanted was money, unlike Milner who trousered a reputed £8 million signing on fee. Real honourable Corinthian spirit, genuine scouse style.

Expect…

- Incoming death threats
- Liverpool pundits to declare him ‘not that good anyway’
- Liverpool fans to declare him shit
- Calls for him to be removed from the England squad

They threw bananas at John Barnes back in the day (he was PFA player of the year at the time)!

They will both keep Salah/VVD because they want to stay. Salah isn't washed yet for a Saudi payout so they will renew them or else the Pool fans are gonna burn Anfield to the ground. If they replace Trent with Frimpong then Pool haven't learned nothing. If you think Trent can't defend then wait until you see Frimpong
So Salah is just trolling Saudi and wont sign that £1m/week contract, so he can run his Liverpool contract down to the last week?

Be funny if his debut was like that

To be fair to Woodgate, he was a very good defender, plenty of talent but was done in by injuries (and lifestyle apparently) , but he was a quality player when young and fit. His debut for Real Madrid was a nightmare and his injuries after made him never really get any momentumt there. But he had the ability. I remember he went to spurs later and was very good.

Trent is bang average, he can just hit a good pass now and again but it's because he attempts it 30 times a game. I'd imagine most premier league players can hit one good one from that many attempts.
Ability isn't the most important thing at Real Madrid. You need to fall in line, speak Spanish and get the press on side!

Bellingham keeps getting sent off and swearing at refs in Spanish, they love him!

Beckham won won league title but spoke Spanish and was a 'Galactico'!

Gareth Bale won 5 Champions Leagues, and 4 league titles for them yet was hated because he would not learn Spanis, speak to the press and wanted a private life! They despise him!

Ability isn't important to them!

It is funny that they thought he would use his friendship with Bellingham to get him to sign for the Dippers but instead it’s the other way.

I wonder if Bellingham said I’m thinking of signing for he Dips & instead Trent said I wouldn’t if I was fucking you, I’m gonna do a Bosman like Mcpointy & Owen.
It funny that Foden has won 17 major trophies for City (including a Treble), they have won 12 between them playing for 'European Royalty'!

In fairness, there's still loads of bitterness on here towards Milner for having the audacity to leave us on a free
Your sounding silly there mate! It was nothing to do with him leaving on a free, Gundogan, Aguero and David Silva all left us on free transfers! They either have statues or have captained us to a Treble!

Milner gets booed because he kissed the badge for Liverpool in front of us! He left with every City fans blessing (just like Kyle Walker will). he got booed because he kissed the liverpool badge in front of the fans that wanted to clap him!

Milner and Joey Barton are the only ex blues i have ever heard get booed of City fans! There is a reason for that!

Always makes me laugh the phrase “letting his contract run down” when all they are doing is honouring their contract.

If Foden wanted a new challenge after winning everything with his boyhood club I would be gutted but would wish him well.

That’s what it means to looking out for your own.

The scousers are a weird breed. YNWA as long as you do what we say.
