PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

From sky sports:

Which clubs are at risk of breaching the PSR rules, and facing a points deduction?

The truth is, we don't know, but it looks unlikely that any clubs will face punishment this season. Each club is permitted to lose £105m over a rolling three-year period,

Then show the last 3 years results for Arsenal, Everton, Rags, Spurs and Villa all being well over £105 million losses and no further comment

I think now that March has been and gone, and with that the only hint at a potential timeline being that loose comment from Pep, we can go from a day by day expectation of the verdict being delivered, back to a week by week or even a monthly one now.
Absolutely @Coatigan.
The decision will be announced when every last remaining I and T has been thrice checked.
I don’t believe for a minute that there is either a deadline or a preferred coincidence for the PL.
“It is what it is” makes me relaxed plus my faith in Cool hand Khaldoon.
As long as they let Everton know !

City should already have statements written with how they expect the result, maybe with a couple of minor changes, but there should be a strategy as to how they handle the fall out. I hope it’s front foot & aggressive with the bullshitters.
I tend to agree , I’m still thinking end of the season , it’s a clean break for all parties concerned , someone at Sky headquarters has been told be careful for a reason , Sky are the PL’s biggest provider of air to air PL football. The fact that someone has told them to be careful what presenters say , to me , says 100% “hints” have been made to which way the wind is blowing , why all of a sudden have sky changed the narrative? To just maybe that lawsuits are a serious threat?

They can drag it out for as long as they like can’t they ? And again , I’d be surprised if it doesn’t coincide with the end of the season. To be clear , I hope not , this is the end for Masters , Brittain et al if this goes against them.

Maybe it suits the club for an end of season announcement, due diligence on both sides in dotting the i’s and crossing the T’s suits both parties ? Will an announcement tomorrow improve us on the pitch ? Or maybe have a negative effect on the team, and more importantly Pep on a day to day of fending off constant questions about the “result”. The club will do what’s best for us , and I don’t see any real benefit in a side show of gigantic proportions being focused on our manager every single day tbh.
Us as fans see it completely different, for obvious reasons - we want blood , and plenty of it , Khaldoon is a very different kettle of fish however - he will see a result as a result , no matter how and when it finally gets announced.
Pep and the team first for me , the rest will be delicious when it all unfolds.

Absolutely this. If they only find we have broken the rules on co-operation then our press release should say we have been cleared of say 103 out of 115 charges, and they were only guilty of breaking the singular rule for not co-operation..
And the reasons why we didn’t co operate (or feel that we did)

Ha I am not sure they would drag it out as such.
If they do get close to the end of the season they may drop down to Warp factor minus 6 though.
It may come to a natural conclusion post season.
I don’t post on this thread very often. I leave that to the erudite so whilst I am here a hearty thanks to them.
Ahsan @BillyShears, Colin @Prestwich_Blue , @petrusha , @halfcenturyup , Stefan @slbsn and that slightly inebriated small claims solicitor.

What really pisses me off , is how much we all are taking our eye off the ball to footballing matters on the pitch , it’s quite clear that we are all absolutely fucked off with this now , personally, off pitch has taken president to on pitch. I’m fucking tired of it now tbh , it’s actually stopping me being vocal about my club in general conversations about football in general , as a talking point with people on a social level , it’s cheats this ,cheats that , and believe you me , I’m tempted on a daily level to lamp some **** about it.
The end is finally close thank fuck .
Like most on here , I’ve fucking had enough of it now.
I’ll wait though , for the delicious result that is coming this clubs way.

The damage done to our club is immense. It can't be quantified obviously, but when our club see deals being cut for other clubs who have breached the rules, Everton, Chelsea etc, they are all benefiting from this 'protect the PL product' stance that is being taken.

Is there any sort of legal action we could take around that? Any precedent, ie along the lines of tyranny of the majority, where the majority are getting these deals but City are not?

I mean it's so obvious what the PL are doing, so stark. Even if they're isn't a legal precedent I hope we bring it to court and get it highlighted at least.

Everton are the darlings don’t you know “original big four or five” don’t you know. Jordan , the cross eyed brother of Shane Warne (RIP) thinks Villa are a bigger club than city - a club with one PL title in 120 years - without an FA Cup win since the 50’s . It’s all about narratives set - as you can tell, I’m fucking on one tonight !
