It's been a fantastic effort from both fans and fan groups, but we can't afford to let it stop now.

We need to keep up the traction, particularly on the wild pricing for games and the lack of season tickets.

I do think 1894, MCFC Foodbank, Trade Union Blues and everyone who's taken part in any demonstrations. It has and is collectively making a difference.

While it's great we've had a price freeze as season ticket holders - we MUST keep the pressure up this time next season, as one of the few times we had a price freeze the last 15 years or so they double the increase the year after to make up for it.

(for example if every year it went up £30, then they froze for a year, the year after that they put it up £60 to get themselves back to where they wanted to be) (i have a list somewhere of all my prices since the move in 2004, i'll try and dig it out to show what i mean)

But yes lets keep up the pressure so that this time next year it can be another price freeze.... as it should be..

It had to be done, I was quite pleased watching it later on TV and pictures how noticeably empty the south stand, where I was, looked until we entered. Point made.

Imo identify anyone who didn't protest and increase theirs 20%, reduce the protesters by 20% then it's no cost to the club

I didn't protest but I did already say I would be willing to pay more for my season ticket if it lowered match day ticket prices.
I have always said match day prices are fucking scandalous and they are pricing out our local fan base especially younger fans and parents with kids.
I couldn't and wouldn't pay £60 plus for a league game regardless of whom we are playing..I go to watch City so the opposition don't really matter.
I'm happy that the protest seems to have had some effect but in my opinion it's the match day prices that need to be reduced especially for family tickets and younger fans.

Thats really good. Although its implicit in the demand to reduce matchday tickets, I think we are missing a trick if there are not explicit demands around kids tickets and the age group 18-say 25. We cant afford to lose any of that fanbase if we are to ensure a loyal core fanbase for the future.

£10 for a child
£20 for a young adult

Irrespective of the game would be a good starting position.

Sorry, I’ve just read it doesn’t necessarily end, but it is being reviewed in 2025 (when I don’t know). It came in, in 2016-17 and was reviewed in 2022 and agreed to keep the £30 cap then. With a 2025 review to come.

theres that much money in game i cant see why not players wages agents fees transfer fees all need reducing i'd guess theres more savings that are out of control
