Florian Wirtz

KDB wages going to Wirtz. And that's why he's been allowed to leave.

At some point - as painful as it may be - the rebuild needs to happen.
Wirtz will probably earn more than KDB ever did which is crazy for me if the 500k /week rumors are true

The fact that apparent leaked figures of a transfer fee and salary of what City have offered him (150m euros and 400k a week) was also in that article, and the fact Bild is the mouthpiece for Bayern, tells me they maybe not as confident as many think.

The fact Bayern are getting the entire Bayern Munich behind the scenes cavalry involved to try and get this transfer over the line also tells me it's not as straightforward as they would like.

If he was going Bayern Munich and Wirtz only wanted Bayern, the deal would be done.

I think the player is undecided. His father wants his boyhood club but the player might think, I can do 5 years at City and still go Bayern when I am 26/27. Leverkusen will also be pushing the City move.

Bayern know with City's offer they will have to stump up close to 150m euros and 400k a week. They need to rebuild their defence this summer as well.
This is exactly what happened with Haaland and look how that ended up.

Ok his dad played for City when he was young so he’s always supported us and that’s clear with Haaland. He’s a proper City guy.

But the reaction from Bild is very similar and I’ll take the positives. I think we will finish in CL places so that makes the decision harder for him. So this will continue for a while.

Haaland numbers have always been exaggerated or simply misunderstood. I wouldn’t be surprised if the same and that figure reported probably includes bonuses and all sorts.

Who is going to be interested in taking a 350k a week player with no output off our hands? Saudi isn't an option for him so i'd say there's a slim to no chance we offload him this summer.
Jacks next move is all sorted and agreed isn't it? or at least thats what i read on here last week....

Sounds to me like Wirtz is still open to any outcome regarding City or Bayern, but his Dad (his agent and also a Bayern fan apparently) obviously wants his son to join the team he supports.

We've offered €150m and £400k a week according to that Bild article.

Bild are a mouth piece for Bayern so the figures must not be too far off as they will have been clearly leaked.

Bild are also building a contingency in case Bayern don’t get him… dirty oil money City stole our player by offering stupid money!

To be fair Wirtz and his father will want to know what’s on the table from anyone interested before they make any decision. At the very least they will use City as a way to bump up what Bayern are paying. No one is getting a free run in these negotiations. This kid is hot property.

This Bayern result tonight will make them more determined to land wirtz imo. Hope city can convince him but history tells us German players end up at Bayern
If they had won, you just know someone would’ve said, “This will definitely nudge Wirtz to join—they’re showing real ambition and proving their strength in the Champions League.” And if they went on to win the final? Even more reason, right?

The truth is, no matter the outcome—win or lose—people will spin it in a way that supports Wirtz ending up there. Different perspectives will always craft a narrative to fit what they want to believe.

As for me? I’m glad they’re losing. At least it doesn’t feed into the idea that they’re some UCL powerhouse. The weaker they look on that stage, the better it is for us, perhaps he may look our way, even though we have crashed out too recently.

The Madrid result is more concerning.

I think it sealed the deal for Alonso + Wirtz

They need to sort their defence and front line out first.

I would be selling Vini JR or Rodrygo tomorrow and bringing a striker in.

They have turned into PSG when they had Mbappe, Neymar and Messi. It's all too much.

Ironically the 3 players they need the most are in the PL and we have 2 of them.

Saliba, Rodri and Haaland/ Isak.

PSG have no striker, yet they are maybe the best team in the world right now.

Liverpool are playing mostly without Striker, & they are top of the league.

Arsenal had DM ( Merino ) playing as a false 9, yet they are ok :)

Madrid will get Arnold for free, and they will get some of their injured players for next season.

Even with you think is a weak defence, they managed to beat us & Ateltico and they are just 4 points behind Barcelona.
