Madrid hasn’t been connected to Wirtz by any reputable source. The Madrid result is more concerning.
I think it sealed the deal for Alonso + Wirtz

You can play with 1 DM, an 8 ( Wirtz) and Musiala as thd 10.Musiala plays the same position I just don’t see him there unless they put Musiala to the left side.. and imagine being Musiala and being moved into a different position for another guy. Munich is forcing it. Musiala was the far better one on the wings between the too so far that Wirtz even got benched. He is a pure 10, won’t last long on the left or right dude even with some sort of freedom
Mcatee and maybe one other youngster imo. Just hope it isn’t O’Reilly
Bingo to Madrid, just wait....The Madrid result is more concerning.

He's roughly twice the player Grealish isFantastic player
But is 21 and has missed 79 games through injury.. the mad outlay for him is a massive risk.
Also statistically and stylistically very similar to Grealish at Villa, before arguably, Pep ruined him by having him hug the touchline and play safe.
Would we have let Kdb go if we didn't get the nod from Wirts that he is coming?
KDB was going ,whoever we get to replace him.Could be Wirtz, could be anyone.I dont think we would mate and i think the timing of the announcement was telling? If we hadnt had positive news from Wirtz then what was the point of announcing KDB leaving when we did?

No idea but even if we do have somebody lined up it could be one of a handfull of players.I just think the timing was strange mate? Why are this particular point as KDB seemingly has nothing lined up?
I think the timing was natural, the international break provided probably the last chance for negotiations and a bit of clarity from Pep and the club. Regardless of who's coming in, it's time to rebuild and sometimes that means making difficult decisionsI just think the timing was strange mate? Alonso to us when Pep leaves?I actually agree that this will happen mate.
KDB was never going to stay, he's been broken for 2 seasons, physically he's done.Would we have let Kdb go if we didn't get the nod from Wirts that he is coming?
Wasn't comparing him to current Jack. He's roughly twice the player Grealish is
Don't think his injury record is a concern. He's had one major cruciate injury, which he's recovered from fine. Since that it's the odd game here and there.Fantastic player

Grealish season before we signed him vs Wirtz
Both 26 appearances
Goals - 6 < 10
Assists - 10 > 9
Chances created - 81 > 50
Take ons - 65 < 73
Take ons % - 65% > 52%
Tackles - 31 > 30
Interceptions - 12 > 7
Wheres twice the player coming from? Jack had better stats for a worse team in a harder league.
