They stole an election 2000.. WE DID NOTHING.
They stole a scotus seat 2016.. WE DID NOTHING.
They stole another scotus seat 2020.. WE DID NOTHING.
They tried to steal another election 2020.. WE DID NOTHING but somehow we got lucky and WE STILL DID NOTHING.

But I agree with you.. it's well beyond time to split the country so we don't get dragged into the dark ages.

What happened to Sudan?
What happened to the Balkans?
What happened to Czechslovakia?
What happened to Greece and Turkey?
What happened to India and Pakistan?

They had COMMON SENSE and realized it's better to not kill each other everyday when it's better to live apart and be happier.

The first step in fixing a massive problem is realizing YOU HAVE A MASSIVE PROBLEM THAT NEEDS FIXING!

I see where you're coming from, but I think it’ll take a response from our American brethren rather than from anyone this side of the pond to accurately convey the feelings on that.

Impeachment and removal is the end state, but then what if he doesn’t relent then? Can he, as CinC, have the military protect him? Well, if they disobey their oath, then sure…and we have a military coup on our hands!!!

I feel like John Robert’s, love him or hate him, believes in the rule of law and the idea of co-equal branches of government. The question is, if Congress (the Legislative Branch) gives away their power to the Executive Branch (Trump), do the Supremes (Judicial branch) have the stones and the force needed to hold him to account…in the absence of a Congress willing to impeach?

If the answer is “No!” then we have officially reached the Dictatorship phase and all gloves are off!

Now, where can I get a crate of 9mm & .40 cal?!!

Even recognizing the exclamation point and hyperbole, I would be remiss if I did not qualify that comment to “Some of them,” as opposed to “They,” which includes us all.

Trump isn’t and never was a politician. His ambition is to be the most famous man in the world. He’d also like to be the richest which might explain his admiration for Putin.

I hope the rest of the world, which includes our politicians, our leaders, don’t engage in his show.
It may require waiting until America comes to its senses before dealing with the US, but get on with world politics without them, until they do.

Isn't it pretty damning that a majority of the electorate voted for a complete charlatan over the very politicians you admire so much?

I know it's the almost universal view on here that a majority of the voting population is just massively stupid, but isn't it even remotely possible that the politicians of which you speak have catastrophically failed to connect with a majority of the electorate, paving the way for a complete psychopath to be elected at least for the remainder of this term?

I read somewhere that the Supreme court would employ US Marshall’s to got o the White House to arrest him, how would that work with the Secret service? I watched the film Civil War and at the end you see the secret service fighting the military, it does get you thinking what would happen, he’s replaced military generals with ones who seem loyal to him but would when push came to shove they go against their oaths to the usa, they could end up been Nuremberg trials if it ever came to that later. I think we are seeing the tipping point now with this lad in El Salvador even the AG is saying he will never return but won’t present evidence he was in MS13, theyve backed themselves into a corner now, if they climb down again like the tariffs they will look weak and the world will know it.

I agree with you about John Roberts; he does seem to push back when required, suggesting he does believe in the rule of law. But he is just one voice. Will be interesting to see how ACB and the other Republican-appointed fella (forgot his name) sway on the more serious issues that will undoubtedly arise.

It's very easy for us non-US citizens to try and pontificate, but as Blue_Lightsaber replied earlier, they've/you've had many chances to sort this. But after the initial furore, it all simply gets forgotten and here we are. And now this clown and his cronies have seen weaknesses.

To Blue_Lightsaber, my comments weren't meant as flippant, apologies if they came across like that.

Where's Lindsay Graham in all this? He likes a good soundbite. Are the media not bombarding him and his chums about their opinions? This isn't what all the Republican Senators believe in, surely?

On a slightly side note, is Graham seen as some sort of unofficial 'leader' within the Republican party?
 
Whilst I have sympathy for the woman who’s daughter was raped and killed by an illegal immigrant, the way the White House paraded her last night was despicable, the other guy is supposedly innocent so he’s not the sort of person Trump promised to deport. A fucking PR stunt absolute twats.

Depends where you get your news from, look at the AG when pushed on it she’s blatantly lying and deflecting, how is the populous supposed to deal with that unless they take up arms? I’ve seen a few of these town halls now and I think someone is going to get killed soon, there’s a ground swell against the likes of that MGT and other republicans it only takes one nutter with a gun and there plenty of both over there. It could go down hill very quickly if they aren’t careful.

It’s just so brazen, and so difficult to understand that people would be taken in by it. OK, you could sort of get away with it on X, or some other SM site, but to try and conflate the two issues you’d have to be braindead to take it in.

Trump is not one. That’s for sure.
I’m hoping ours don’t entertain his form of diplomacy.

No. It's because the majority of the voting population is EITHER stupid, naive, uneducated, outright amoral or a combination thereof. Trump won because of the naive portion -- he'd always have the votes of the other three.

That said, as I said many times before he chose to run for term 2, Biden should have announced he was a one-term President either when first elected or at the very latest right after the mid-terms.

But the other guy is NOT "supposedly innocent." He belongs to the very same gang that the rapist killer belonged to, MS 13.

At a minimum, here is what we know about the Democrat's beloved "Maryland man " mascot. He is an alleged wife assaulter. 2ice once in 2020 and again on 2021 his wife sought protective orders against him with descriptions of violent assaults.

2nd, He is a member of the MS 13 gang. He was swept up in an MS 13 gang raid in 2019.
On the Prince Georgia County police record sheet, Mr. Garcia was described as wearing gang related paraphernalia common to MS 13 members, Including a hoodie with imagery the symbolizing, "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil"

A reliable informant identified Mr Garcia as an 'active' MS 13 member with the 'Westerns Clique' and described his rank as 'Chiqauo' and his gang name as 'Cheli'.

His deportation order was stayed under argument he was at risk of deathly harm from potential 'rival' gangs in his home country of El - Salvador. An immigration court concluded and an appeals court affirmed the evidence showed he was a gang member.

In 2022, a Tennessee highway patrol stopped Garcia in a car, immediately suspecting human trafficking. The officer found that Abrego was driving without a valid license, transporting 7 passengers from Texas to Maryland

One of the passengers he was transporting was on the terror watchlist. The Tennessee cop contacted the FBI ( at the time under the leadership of Christopher Ray and the Biden/ Harris Administration). and according to the Tennessean Star, the FBI instructed the officers to release all 8 individuals. Potentially releasing a MS 13 gang member, a potential terrorist and a car full of people they were potentially trafficking.


But hey!!! He hasn't attacked ( well, other than his wife), raped and killed some innocent jogger yet...So bring him back I say.... Its about "due process." Bring back our Maryland man. A father, a husband and a Maryland based Chicago bulls fan.

Because if they can do it to this 'innocent Maryland man," you could be next!!!!
