not in the match squad for Everton or Villa.

we couldnt wait when he is back finally, now he is and cannot make match squad let alone the line up. what a fucking nothing of a season for him.
He's in competition with Savinho, Bernardo, Foden and McAtee - no room in the match day squad for all five little leftie AMFs and only two of them at most in the team. Bobb is at the end of the queue now - maybe moving up soon.

What are you expecting? Who is he replacing in the squad? He's back from being out for almost the entire season. Even if you were the superstar of the side you don't just get thrown back in, even Rodri's return will be a slow gradual cautious one.

Pre-injury Bobb was a peripheral figure that looked as though he was about to break through and be a star after a brilliant pre-season. His injury was incredibly unfortunate timing as it naturally now means he'll have to bide his time and work his way back up the pecking order from bottom as the players that have been available all season rightly get chances ahead of him.

Can't catch a break can he. I suspect it's rustiness and over eagerness to return, not uncommon after lengthy injuries. Should just write off the season and aim to get himself fit to feature prominently in the club world cup

Norway manager says he’s fit I and it just competition in the squad that’s keeping him out of the team.

Great prospect and a wonderful pre season until the injury……..but would Pep have given him much game time this season.

I know he suffered a setback a month or so ago but seems a though he has been fit for a couple of weeks.

Although the results have recently picked up, we are still lacking in creativity…….seems strange that Bobb has not been around the first team when he could add what we are so desperately lacking.

I think he would have had a lot of game time if he had been fit during November and December, and we would probably have been home and dry for a top three finish by now.

He had a bad injury and then a setback. I imagine it takes a long time to rediscover the fluidity and rhythm he was showing last summer.

His talent is unquestionable but he needs to build himself back up. Mentally and physically.

Norway have two international fixtures in early June, so just keep Oscar off the pitch and out of the limelight until the Club World Cup. We’ve suffered enough injuries with players going on international duty.
