We of all clubs should know it isnt who owns it, its how its run by those they employ to deliver, and they have achieved that for them. Cant complain about loaded owners automatically meaning success, Cardiff got relegated same day and they owned by a loaded Thai bloke

Congrats to them, after 45 games the table doesn't lie.
I'm not convinced Parkinson is the man to try for the promotion that they dream of, but they are definitely on the upward curve.
They need to try and bring the average age down for next season but at least when the season starts in August initially they only need to worry about 2 relegation spots as 1 is already taken, before they try to navigate the Championship.

They were trapped in the national league. Only 1 goes up. Once you crack that then you have a chance at the football league and they showed its a pyramid aimed at keeping the normal clubs in it. Shirley there should be more jeapordy for shite clubs at the bottom of the 4th division but there wasnt, its one up one down, as decided by votes on it it, shock! We know how the established clubs vote. Turkeys dont vote for Christmas. Once back in the football league they could do a bit. And fairest of play to them.

Like our "4 in a row" it'll probably never be done again, and I know someone who has been in all 3 promoted squads.

I'm not sure about that....... going to check but I thought Northampton came straight from the 4th to the 1st - and back again in successive seasons.
Edit: 3 promotions in 5 seasons, one season in the 1st and then 3 relegations in 4 seasons!
9 seasons from 4th to 1st to 4th!

My Dad only ever watched one top flight football match.
Northampton vs. Villa. We were staying with my aunt and uncle in Northamptonshire, and my uncle took Dad along.
He much preferred rugby.

Across this period, Wrexham have scored 361 league goals (not including play-offs) at a rate of almost exactly two per game while claiming an average of 2.08 points per game.
Parkinson, 57, also guided Wrexham to the FA Trophy final - they lost to Bromley at Wembley - in his first season and has twice led his side to the fourth round of the FA Cup.
