Nottingham Forest (N) | FA Cup | Post Match Thread

I'd give forum's a miss mate (see this one for shit), I was around Wembley for about 90 minutes afterwards, went to get food, I heard one or two complaining, but the vast majority were great, and magnanimous in defeat. I think most accepted the better team won, yes we had a bit of fortune, but so did they (what penalty ?).

There was none of the grief with this lot as we had with the villa cunts.

I must have been unlucky then because we had a load of mouthy pricks on the way back to the tube station. The usual shite being spouted, I had my kids with me so didn’t respond but yeah they’re on the shit list with the scousers and the rags for me.

interesting to hear what you guys think, i didnt think the handball before our goal was a penalty and i'd be pissed if that was given against us, but it seems like most people think it was
interesting, yes. Mixed feelings. Accidental rather and probably natural, but still, his arm made his body look way wider and was sticking out far from his torso

The guy had his hands low and behind his back - but the ball was going into the net and therefore definitely penalty

My argument is that you put your hands behind your back when facing the ball, if you then turn sideways and stop a certain shot on target then it should be pen. If I stood in the wall of a freekick sideways with my hands behind my back they would give it surely.

Did I read somewhere that today was our thirtieth game in Brent since we were founded 17 years ago? Not sure if that includes the couple of league games against Spurs that were played there. Of course, number 31 is on the horizon. And if we fluke the FA Cup, number 32 will be coming in August in the Community Shield. It's a crazy stat.
Correct, today was our 30th at new Wembley.
14 FA Cup (9 semis and 5 finals) - Edited: should be 15, 10 semis and 5 finals so far.
6 League Cup
8 Charity Shields - Edited should be 7 for shields. It would have been 9 but two were moved.
2 PL v Spuds

Two of the semis were during Covid with no fans and the 2021 League Cup v Spurs only had 4,000 fans from each team. - I was lucky enough to be there.

I know Pep is big on the whole 'if you have the ball they can't score'. But they can't score if you boot the cunting ball into their shitting half either. Whereas if you fanny about in the box and lose it, they Can score.
...erm...erm...but they didn't. Isn't that what counts???? Most 'can' score but if they don't they don't. Nobody missing the treble 20, or the black for a 147 rewrote physics or were even remembered fondly buddy. Relax, take a deep breath...and enjoy. It'll do you and your health the world of good.

7 Charity Shields, I think. I've counted nine in total but one was at Villa Park and one at King Power.
