City’s New Kits

I respectfully disagree with this, as I do not believe that United are in any way, to any extent, relevant any more. Not now, and not in a very very long time. That being said, red was always my least favorite color, going back to my childhood, and it continues to be, and I wouldn't be a bit bothered if I never see that color on any of our kits.
That's my take on it too. Why should the rags "own" red? I don't like red either for the same reason but that doesn't make me hate any of the red and black kits, the red/black striped one always takes me back to some of the historical moments and the shades we use have generally been completely different anyway, but you can't own a colour. In fact I actually think it's quite funny that they have to "share" it with Liverpool and Arsenal so it's not unique to them like our blue is to us.

I remember when T-Mobile tried to copyright magenta so that no other company could use it. They got laughed out of court.

So in 30 or 40 years these recent gross away/ 3rd kits will be historical because we won something in them?

We only have Malcolm Allison to thank for the red and black kit, so it isn't really historical for a fan that grew up in the 70s it was as new as that tequila sunrise strip.

Can't wait until that historical rebrand in 2040 the joy it will bring when we run out onto the pitch.

Do you remember when we won the league wearing that kit, magical.

What absolute bollocks, Red and Black is synonymous with our away kit down the years, oh and by the way you spelt colour wrong, which makes me think that you're from the US of A and have absolutely no knowledge of the history of Manchester City.
Yes, I am in the USA and have been living and dying, match to match with City since 2002. I am well-acquainted with City's oft-misrepresented history. By the way, speaking of misrepresentation, you should take a look in the mirror. Engaging in character assassination simply because you disagree with someone else's legitimate post is a telling indication of your level of maturity.

Magenta is my least favorite color. IMHO, it's a shame that that copyright wasn't approved! No, seriously, color selection for City kits is not a high priority issue for me, and if there is some red in a design, that is not a problem. In fact, I have a Julian Alvarez red and black striped shirt from a few seasons ago, and I quite like it.

Is the home kit with the sash designed by the kids who did the players pen pictures at the Brighton match?
The club are determined to erode our identity. This seasons Oasis kit was bad enough.
Really couldn’t see the biggest club brands (Dippers, Rags, Arsenal, Milan’s, Real etc) tinkering with their home kits to incorporate a sash or something as radical.

They all have done things that pissed their fans off. Utd had that black V thing on one year, there was outrage when arsenal joined the white arms all the way to the collar, real madrid changed their detail and writing to blue which was a scandalo, and did they not also randomly add a dragon once? AC Milan can't ever seem to get one right, either the stripes are too dense, it dense enough too many, too thin, one year asymmetrical, one year they blended and faded, or had all black shoulders. Dortmund and Barcelona tinker all the time.

It is not unique to us.

Is it mainly sky blue with some white on it?
