City’s New Kits

Is the home kit with the sash designed by the kids who did the players pen pictures at the Brighton match?
The club are determined to erode our identity. This seasons Oasis kit was bad enough.
Really couldn’t see the biggest club brands (Dippers, Rags, Arsenal, Milan’s, Real etc) tinkering with their home kits to incorporate a sash or something as radical.

Arsenal's shirt for next season is practically the same as this year's. I'd rather see some changes at least.

I think the sash looks great, still our colours and a little different without it being too much. Much better than this seasons 0161 shite

I agree, it is nowhere near as bad as was made out with previous leaks. Which is most often the case every year. I never get why Puma have this aversion to normal collars and i'm not a fan of the half and half, but hey at least it is not a v-neck, right!

The home kit with the white sleeves from around 2006 was bad, but I actually think that one with the purple was worse.

Really ugly.

I’ve always felt this was the worst ever home kit we’ve had. Dark blue sleeves combined with blue shorts and white socks. It doesn’t even look like a City home kit.

Individually I think we’ve had worse shirts but as a whole kit this was really something else.

What made it worse was that it was the first season with the new badge which was a return to the classic design and yet it debuted on the least City looking home kit we’ve ever had.

It wasn’t great but I think the 19/20 home with the purple stripe was worse. Pity because Puma made a decent away and the 125 anniversary kit was a beaut, the orange sherbet third kit was pretty awful though.

I hate this whole kit. As you say, it’s like looking at another team.

Nike were on some crackhead shit that year. The Euro 2016 kits for England were atrocious.

Remember when we added purple to our home kit?

Yeah really just a swing and a miss there on the colour. Something like a really dark blue or even a hot pink (The Miami Heat NBA team had some incredible sky blue kits with pink/black detail that year) if they wanted to be bold could absolutely have worked.

Yeah, hard to disagree with that. It just wasn’t a City kit.

I did however quite like that year’s away kit, although I would expect that to be a minority view.

The following year’s kits were very good though in my view, both the home and away. Proper City kits.

Yeah that kit was shite... but then again so was the one with purple trim and the one with white sleeves!
