PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I would love to know if those clubs that have used these self funded loans, if they would have breached PSR/FFP without them, and by how much.

I mean its quite shocking really, that the PL have allowed a back door for certain clubs to breach rules whilst throwing shit at our club.

And to think, no one would know about this without City plugging away at it.

I reckon, some of the clubs would have failed PSR/FFP just by not paying market interest rates on the loan, never mind the loan itself.

I thought the loan itself counts towards the PSR calculation as a loss. It's the fact they were interest free over x number of years which has caused the issue.

Clubs cannot not loan themselves money to pass PSR. The fact they are interest free has helped them though.

Your explanation is far more eloquent than mine. But is exactly what I was trying to say [emoji16]

I see bin dipping cunts with posts online about 2 titles in 5 years with no cheating financial doping or corruption. Were already guilty before the verdict thanks to the media
Did they mention a £50 million cost for a fictional stadium to avoid failing FFP, a loan from a state owned bank to avoid administration, sponsorship from a convicted money launderer, illegally accessing a rival clubs scouting database or unlawfully killing 39 innocent people?

Have you not seen the bottom 3 teams this year…..
As I say it’s a catch 22

For many a year teams promoted are favourites to be relegated ironically those relegated are probably always favourites to gain promotion in the following season.

There has to be some sort of incentive to try and enable clubs to survive more than just one season in the PL but without some sort of financial incentive clubs would just take the money and accept they will be relegated even before the season starts.

Understandably those clubs that don’t get parachute payments argue they are disadvantaged

Are we already at the point the PL is a Super league effectively without relegation?

You spelled meth wrong.

It will be once there are enough US owned clubs in the PL to vote a no relegation league and thus protect their investments

You can bet your arse that there will be skid marks aplenty in the rush to get the “no relegation” vote through if we are relegated. Not that I expect us to be relegated by the way…

Its May ffs! How did the club, Pep come to the conclusiion that it would be March. I am not criticising them not knowing, but if they didnt know they would not have said March/April surely. What gave them that impression. I wonder if there have been extraneous delays.
