Given we're waiting for the verdict to be written up, for shits and giggles i thought I'd see how long it would take to write a novel.

Here’s a rough example of the time it takes for each step of the process of writing a novel:
  • Outlining and Planning – 2 to 3 weeks.
  • Writing the First Draft – About 6 months for a 75,000-word book (300 pages if 250 words per page).
  • Revisions – 1 to 2 months.
  • Editing, Proofing, Cover Design – 2 months
Not the same requirements but interesting that 300 pages can take 6 months given that some have said that this might run to over a 100 pages.

I'd imagine proofing might take a lot longer.

It's really important to get a good front cover. I wonder what that might look like. Any ideas?

Having seen that it kind of feels like if the report is out in June it would seem rushed lol.

I might take the pet goldfish for a walk that day. Or cut the garden. With a pair of scissors.

By the way; "pigeon carriers". Are they baskets for transporting our feathered friends?
