He’s Pedro at Barca. That’s what Rodrygo is, an efficient Swiss Army knife that can play all across the attack , pop up with goals and assists but also is a hard worker and has a high work rate. He takes on Vini and Mbappe job to close down and track back.

But can also score in the big games champions league knock outs , title deciders etc

Pep loves him that’s from Jfelix last window who’s the number one Madrid mouthpiece briefed and we had a few other journalists repeat and Pep has highlighted him during Madrid vs city press conferences

He’s the perfect Pep attacker. The perfect Pep player really. If Pep wants him then you can see why he could play left wing , right wing , striker , cam he’s everywhere and he’s a threat where ever he plays. With our injury issues having a player like that would be an extra weapon

I know what he brings. Its a need we had, not have for me right now. You've just described the same pitch we got for Marmoush in Jan

I wont complain if we just stack the decks and let them fight it out but don't see it unless we get a surprise sale of another wide player (Grealish is gone) Omar, Doku, Savio, Foden, Bobb still left.

Seen weirder shit in football though.
 
He hates playing RW at Madrid and always looks better on the left.

But we have Marmoush and Doku, so there is not much of a point to this signing.

We need an actual creative 10 to replace KdB, not just more wingers.

Wingers look fine, but that midfield is sus, it’s all based on ifs. You want Bernardo as a starter for another year…

The days of building around Phil Foden are long gone I'm afraid. Unless there's a very dramatic improvement in his performances over pre-season's money making tournament, I can't see him getting a start next season.

Gonzalez will be next to Phil on the bench every week.

So in that case Rodri plus 2 new guys, or does Kovacic get a start, or Bernie or O'Reilly.

That is the problem , he literally plays RW and doesn’t hack there consistently and here the same ting is considered as a positive point

Paying 100m for what ? potentially playing well at LW where we already have numbers?
 
He's a LW originally, so if he ever comes here, he should be played on the left.

Personally I like him, but not with the 100m tag.

Hardly long gone there is nothing saying Foden can't recover the form of last season and seasons gone.

It's very harsh to write Phil off after one illness hit season. On form he is one of the best around and he deserves to be given time to regain his form.

Couldn’t agree more. If it meant bringing in Wirtz at the expense of Phil being put on the bench, I’d give Wirtz a swerve. If it was for them to play together….well that’s a different story
