Rodrygo

It's the type of signing United have made for over a decade.

Trying to remain relevant.
I’m not sure about that mate
He is still very young and works hard for the team
He has attributes we could use
Just depends how much he cost and is he worth it

Yep not a player I'd want
I’d prefer if we signed Xavi Simons and deployed him primarily as a left winger, while giving him the flexibility to slot in on the right or as a central attacking midfielder when needed. If that’s not possible, Franco Mastantuono would be my next choice — a versatile talent who could thrive as a right winger or CAM depending on the tactical setup.

As for Rodrygo, the hype around him died for me years ago. I just find him overrated and overpriced compared to what he actually brings to the table, especially when you consider the level of emerging talent available for much better value. There are more dynamic, hungry, and tactically flexible players out there who offer far more upside such as lower salary and lower signing fees.

Pep has had a hard on for Rodrygo for a couple of years now hasn’t he?

He's the perfect Pep forward. Reminds me of Pedro, skillfull, hard working and can score and assist. Can play every position in attack as well.

Wonder if we can pick up both Rodrygo & MGW as our star signings this summer?

€100m for Rodrygo - Absolute robbery
€100m for White - Absolute robbery too

These prices are insane

I could understand it to some degree with Rodrygo though.

Done it at the highest level consistently, scored in the Champions League knockouts including multiple quarters and semi finals.

33 caps for Brazil.

You don't get 267 games for a club the size of Real Madrid by the age of 24, win 2 Champions Leagues and 3 La Liga's if you are average. That is a top player.

MGW is 25, so older than Rodrygo yet has 102 fewer games under his belt. Was in consistent relegation battles up until this season and only has 2 caps for England.

I bet when all things are done, I would not be surprised to see Rodrygo ending up going for less than what we pay for MGW as well.

This. This thread is insane. He’s a top player with many more years ahead of him.

Still don’t to pay 100M for a player who struggles to reach 15 goals a season. Rodrygo is a passenger in madrid‘s game . He has his moments but you won’t see him often. Thats the problem Real Madrid fans have with him. He has 5 good games to be a no show the next 10 games . I think some here overrate him a bit for his impact against us. Especially he is playing a position that doesn’t really need new players. We have Doku and Marmoush already.
