Josh Acheampong at Chelsea. Would be great in that RB-RCB hybrid role supposing we go back to that shape. Can play in midfield aswell. Loads of versatility for Pep to utilise. Not sure they’d sell but I’d be pretty certain he’d be another: Lewis-Hall, Livramento, Guehi level talent.

Surely he must have watched PSG this season and realised the energy they have mixed with technical quality is the key.
Without that we can’t compete with the top teams.
As such I think all new players will be young, energetic, paced and technical.
Which for me would be really exciting. Pep needs to then improve them

Agree with this. It feels like our squad just got old. We've bought a lot of players but we haven't been pushing out the old ones. And the tempo has fallen.

Mbuemo. Still only 25, don’t think he’d go for more than £60mil. Been extremely consistent over the last 4 years and getting better and better. Sorts backup striker out if Haaland’s injured too.

Takes a lot of the pressure off Savinho/Doku to score goals. There’s definitely serious potential there, but 4 goals between them with 2 games to go is a shocking for a team with our ambition.

I think "players who might improve us" needs to be "players and departures who might improve us". This summer, for me, is as much about getting some of the players out of the club to avoid the continued over reliance and overuse of them as much as it is bringing in new, hungry players

To be fair, I think Perrone still has a lot to offer. He just needs time to adapt like Alvarez did. But no doubt Mastantuono looks special. As for Mora, haven’t seen enough but heard the hype. They both fit our long-term profile
