He's a wing back isn't he? He's not particularly impressed in a back 4 and is quite suspect defensively

However, he is a left sided defender and prem experienced, with good quality, and a good age too

He's better than what we have, think he's a level below Kerkez and while he younger I think Robinson is better suited to what we need

He’s a level above Kerkez. Take a look at the comparison between the two players online.

One would imagine Pep converting a wing back to left back is easier than a number 10 to left back.

No would watching them 2 play would say that he is a level above especially when he is a wingback while Kerkez Is an actual LB
 
Just to caveat some of his stats esp goals and assists, he played some games as part of a front three(as did Robinson btw) which will bump these up against the likes of a Kerkez.
 
I’m all for this. Was only thinking the other week how impressive he is every time I watch him, so checked out his stats and thought he could actually be the answer. This could be a canny signing that ends up looking like amazing business in a few seasons time.

The comparison is a bit flawed when one plays as a fullback and the other one plays as a wingback. Based on what I have seen from them I would say that Air-Nouri is better going forward but Kerkez is significantly better at defending (while still being good, just not as good, going forward). Would prefer Kerkez since I dont really rate fullbacks who I dont trust when they have to do actual defending even if they get an attacking return (goal or assist) every third game or so.

I'd rather watch them then check someone online

Ait-Nouri positioning leaves a lotnto be desired, even if he's talented

There is a reason why Kerkez is currently in everyone's TOTS when Ait Nouri isn't

Plus Kerkez is a few years younger
