Drunk man denied boarding on Easyjet flight at Manchester Airport

This might be a stupid question, but do they routinely drug test people after an incident like this? For me, they should do that, and if he's found to have class A drugs in his system, he should be done for possession.

They probably can't be arsed to do anything other than clink him for 24 hours then let him go with a caution, others on here might know more.
If you behave like this, at boarding, you should be detained for mental assessment at the very least.
We shouldn't have to put up with cunts like this, unfortunately it's becoming more common, wether at the airport, supermarket, or on the roads.
The country is full of self entitled wankers, who ironically, unlike us, have not, and will not contribute to society.

I think with cocaine, it's a simple swab, so it will presumably only detect fairly recent stuff. With weed in the US, it's a bit different because you could have taken it legally and then fly to somewhere where it's illegal. But in the UK, there's nowhere where cocaine isn't a class A drug. Again, if you can give a plausible explanation as to why you legally took it, then fair enough, but otherwise, throw the book at him.

Depends which gate they were at and where the police were in the terminal when they got the call

She was working on one of the piers where you walk down the steps then across the apron to get on the aircraft
She's up top boarding passengers at the gate and there was a no show
The passenger was called numerous times, given ample warning but didn't turn up
He didn't have any luggage in the hold so the flight was closed
A couple of minutes later he turns up and was told he's missed his flight
He started arguing then pushed my niece to get past her and then ran down the steps to find the doors were locked
He turned round and there were four armed police officers stood behind him
It took them about two minutes to arrive

I made a tactical error a few years ago, went to visit a mate in Spain and thought, if I’m heading across the pond might as well go through Manchester and see a game. After spending half of my money at The Grey Horse on certain reprobate members of this forum I then realized the error. The Easy Jet flight there wasn’t too bad but the return was a nightmare. Two different groups of Stag do lads, all had bought their latest man perfumes at duty free, then proceeded to spend the whole flight, standing in the isles, talking with their friends all over the plane and the ultimate insult was that they then decided to start sharing their perfume with each other. It smelled like a ….. can’t really find the words, needless to say, won’t do that again
