I’m no financial expert but from what I read on here they are doing it on the never never . Can’t see how this is sustainable it’s got to bite them in the arse at some point
theyve got cunha on tic and probably will do with mbuemo

So basically they needed to win the Europa final to gain a 100m war chest through qualification to the Champions league, the media told us.
Yet here the rags go again spending large amounts after failing to qualify for the champions league for a 2nd year.
I'm a tad confused

Keep up, remember the £2.5 billion stadium they are supposed to be building? They will have a go at putting £200 million in designs and ground exploration into their accounts and said stadium won’t happen.

More confusing if you don't qualify for champions league not one single player will sign for your club but here we are clubs buying players and not in champions league

It does seem like the rules around financials in the league don't apply to this shower.

I'm assuming the rat moving to the middle east was going to be a key part in their transfer activity for them. Now that's been knocked on the head, I'm sure attention will focus on a £100m fee for the clown in goals moving to Saudi instead.

Literally a week ago we were hearing about a "financial disaster" for United not having European football, yet here we are, spend, spend, spend. No need to take your medicine rags, just get players in on a 'buy now pay later' arrangement like a Klarna account, despite having about £350m landing in due course.

Honestly, get them to fuck and the media hyperbole. A shit stain of a club with the most entitled moronic fanbase you will see.

Looks like Fernandes isn't going to Saudi Arabia now. Not sure that's necessarily great news for United though, as they're probably relying on that money for the rebuild. They're in such a mess that him leaving and him staying are equally problematic for them.

That said, the Romano tweet says "he wants to play at the top level in Europe", so that rules out staying at United anyway.
He's the only player left with significant value, although if it's not Saudi then that number comes right down. As you say though, they need his sale for the rebuild but where do they finish without his 8 goals and 11 assists.

Cunha had 15 goals, 6 assists in the league, Mbuemo had 20 and 8, so it's probably 2 steps forward 1 step back but Fernandes aside how many have hit the numbers they did at previous clubs. Add to that they were both the main men at their clubs, so cant see them doing anywhere near that well in United's team.

I think the rat staying is good as he’s the captain and with Rashford the main rotten apple. Bit worried about Cunha and Mbeumo are both v good players. Hopefully they will turn to complete shit like the majority do

To be very honest, I am irritated a bit at this.

He is a competent forward. Hardworking as well. Why the idiot would want to join United in big 2025 I wouldn’t know.

Cunha is the type of player for them. Doesn’t work hard. Has an ego. Too big for his boots. Toxic
Typical of the club.
Mbuembo that bald bearded fraud is a great signing.
hmmm not sure about this, most of his goals have come against Ipswich Southamption, Leceister, Spurs and Wolves some of the worst defences the PL has ever seen

While Manchester United continue their pursuit of big-money targets in the transfer window, it was reported last month that the club have started a second round of redundancies which could affect around 200 jobs.

About 250 members of staff were made redundant last year in a first wave of cost-cutting measures by co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe while the season ticket prices will also rise by about 5% for the third successive year.

Those are among a string of measures announced by the club since the Ineos group completed a deal worth about $1.6bn (£1.25bn) for a stake in the club in February 2024.

In March, Ratcliffe had said that "United would have run out of cash by the end of 2025" in an interview with BBC Sport.

United's latest accounts showed a net loss of £113.2m in the year to 30 June 2024, with total losses across the past five years exceeding £370m.

So how can United afford to splash the cash in the market?

Pulled from the BBC website. scruffy Jim making more wholesale redundancies whilst splashing the cash. The rags made more money than any other PL club last year they are printing cash for failure, Maybe it's time the media stopped supporting them and allowed them to fail?

small thing but you mean they lost more money than any other PL club they didn't make a penny. They brought in a lot but their outgoings far exceeded their incomings. One thing is for sure they will be failing PSR this year so it's just a question of how the PL will find allowances to let them off. The new stadium is prime candidate for the fake transactions

I'd like to see the new football regulator squares so many job losses ith giving them a hand up with their stadium and campus but that's getting scrutinised now.

Rat face has rejected Saudi. Shame, would’ve been funny to see him leave.
It's a bigger problem him staying. How can they fund their potential signings? He's also the biggest problem Utd have dressing room wise. He sets the wrong example, never rolls his sleeves up, bitches and whines when things ain't going well and worse captain they've had in my lifetime.

Stupid cunts think clubs are stupid and will get Antony and Rashford off their wage bill and a nice transfer fee. They're deluded.
