Leroy Sané

Sane's missus is very much her own woman, I'd imagine he's in for an even longer commute now! Always struck me she was more into City than he was.

Very likely he'll have a Champions League medal missing from his collection at the end of his career. Though as he sits on his pile of cash who knows whether than will bother him?
Sane's Mrs is a blue, is a blue, is a blue
Sane's Mrs is a blue, she hates scousers

Bit of a backward step for him, in my opinion. I'm pretty sure that the Turkish league wouldn't be as strong as the Bundesliga. And you get the feeling that his career hasn't been as stellar as it looked like it was going to be when he was with us. Or am I wrong about that? He was dynamite for a couple of seasons. But in his last fully fit season, iirc, he wasn't an automatic pick for the first team; he was on the bench for a few games in that season.
I think City fans are fonder of him than Bayern fans. As others have said, probably the wrong move for him at the wrong time.

I don't know what it says about Arteta that one of his greatest achievements in coaching was that Sane/Sterling combo that he's gone back in for both of them in the hope that he it kickstarts his managerial career. I'd be more than a bit concerned if I was an Arsenal fan.

Haven't seen anything linking the Tarqs with Leroy. Source?

I mean it's all transfer fluff but he has been strongly linked with them for ages.

Thanks. I wasn't questioning/doubting you, even if that might be the way it came across. I honestly hadn't seen anything linking him with Arsenal. Guess I need to speak to my parole officer about getting out more.

;-)

I dont see what the fuss is about. Struggled to get a start for us and clearly has the wrong attitude

He was the right guy at the right time in the right point in our cycle. He was always going to be a peaky player with moments of brilliance but lacked the mental fortitude to be consistent over the long term.

Was very good for us for the most part but I’m glad we didn’t go back in for him.
