PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Everyone slagging off this new talksport lawyer. Take it he’s said stuff we don’t want hear?
Problem with some City fans, Is you’re a Cnut if you don’t defend us.

In fairness the lad basically said. If City had a silver bullet, before the whole thing started they didn’t need to use it because it was probably more fun dragging it out. On the other hand. Had the PL had the bullet, they’d have just used it straight away instead of throwing 115 charges at us

That’s my assumption anyway

They have to submit those accounts as they're the overarching legal entity registered in the UK, so it's not a "ruse" as such. But, as you say, we don't know what they exclude. I've always maintained there is more debt hidden in the Cayman Islands entities.

But as Stefan has pointed out, we pay Soriano and others from CFG (although I suspect we charge part of that back).
Man Utd plc 2023/24 accounts show £130m pre-tax losses. Red Football's comparable pre-tax loss was £36.2m. The difference is the finance costs of the Glazer debt and legal costs associated with Ratcliffe's takeover. I know that the accounts that are submitted should be based on the UK entity but the Glazers and Ratcliffe bought a PL club and they both actively manage that club. The PSR model is to link their transfer spending to the revenue and costs of their football operation only they are not including all their costs and therefore the PSR calculation for Man Utd is a farce. Manchester United plc have reported pre tax losses of £330m over 3 years, a figure that is 3 times the permitted losses of £105m yet they can spend on because they are excluding costs incurred in the management of the football club. That just seems wrong. I am not against financial regs and rules but these do not seem fair. They seem like the standard Man Utd get out clause.

He didn’t attack or defend he said general things without having any real knowledge of the case. He did explain why it would take ages to get a judgement.

TBH it was just a bit pointless, almost like they’d reserved time for Stefan to come in but he missed the train so they got the tea boy to pretend to be a lawyer.

New lawyer on talksport

He said fuck all and used his opinion not anything factual. Lawyers will say whatever they need to in order to bill.

This lawyer should have said it’s only about 4/5 charges at the start. Lost all credibility, Blah blah blah.

Simon! Stick the irrefutable evidence into your garage bin rotunda and fuck off.

As for squeals like a pig, he needs to lay off the spirit trough.

Silver bullet? The only thing fired at us that is irrefutable is the red cartel bullet. Why don’t they go and investigate that?

Bunch of whining pricks.

It gets me when Simon always says why we don’t give the irrefutable evidence to clear it in an hour. From my understanding they’ve charged us for not providing irrefutable evidence that we are guilty.

It’s a fucking sham & the commentary around it is just as bad.

Maybe in 20 or 30 years we'll still be waiting for the outcome. Many of the protagonists will have died and City will have won the European super league 10 times.
The PL will be a distant memory for City except the Red top owners will still be meeting to curse us and demand retrospective justice, but Lord Pannick's son will be stifling their every move.

And Pep will be king of that new nation, Catalonia.
