The PL legal team could have advised them to save their money in the leicester case and they didnt, they could have advised them to save their money in the APT case and they didnt, the PL legal team gets paid either way and weak cases get brought all the time despite legal advice that the case has no chance of proceeding because the visuals are more important than the result, take the recent diddy case where they tried to drag jay z into it when he was demsonstrably 5000 miles away at the time of the alleged incident but sometimes its easier to just give a few million quid to make it go away than have your name dragged into it this happens all the time. I suppose the great unknown, is how much pressure the PL have come under from some of its biggest clubs? Clubs that seem to get away with almost anything financial, clubs which vet and interview candidates for the PL CEO job, clubs who’s expectations are winning things every year, making the most cash and buying any other challenging clubs best players…Going off at a tangent to my point.
