If there was irrefutable evidence then you would expect the PL legal team to advise the PL to save its money. I’m not even sure it’s possible to have irrefutable evidence for all of the charges. Okay the Mancini thing might be a sworn statement by the key individuals and copies of bank statements but even then the PL might suggest off-book arrangements. How do you prove that hasn’t occurred. Luckily the legal system will be concentrating on the likelihood of this happening and will demand evidence from the PL which is equally likely to not be irrefutable evidence.

Yes which is exactly my point. This irrefutable evidence, based on what we said in our first press release, that Jordan seems to think we have that could have stopped all these shenanigans was the reason for my initial comment. People are thinking we have something like that but I always took it to mean the club are just confident they can demonstrate that the accusations did not occur ONCE legal proceedings commenced. You’re just not going to give your accuser further information until they’ve given you all their accusations and THEIR evidence.

The club doesn't have to prove that there were no "off book arrangements". It is the PL that has to prove there were.
