Good question, Aaron Ramsdale perhaps? Maybe trafford if we can sell him the long term vision or nick pope if trafford goes to newcastle? Sam Johnstone an option too. As a short term answer if we could convince him id not say no to Kasper S. Not as reliable but maybe Muric as second choice? Did ok the year he was here second choice although his confidence is gone these days. Even a good championship keeper wouldnt be the worst option like Alex Palmer. England under 21 keeper at Brighton who was on loan in champ last year has looked good in the euros but i think id prefer more experience.

Fair enough. You are entitled to your opinion of him being the last choice for you. However, I could probably name 10 I'd want less than Ramsdale. Some of the names being thrown around here for, I assume, "sentimental reasons" are certainly worse choices than Aaron Ramsdale.

I dunno, its that or playing in the championship. 15 games for city or 40 in the championship i know which id rather, he needs to back himself(not that i would take him personally) to be the man we turn to when ederson goes in 12 months. Im not saying we should or we will, im just giving an option when asked the question.

£40mil for a homegrown first choice keeper who could be England’s number 1 for the next 10 years is a decent price.

I doubt Ramsdale would be in it, it would kill the last remaining chances of England call-up, also odd 20mil for backup keeper is tad bit much IMO, but would be very good back-up and would provide good competition

Gunn is also a very nice shout IMHO, City academy, cheap
