Well if a great option that could be here for years to come (like Eddie when we signed him) is available then sure.

If not we could easily see Ortega get a year as first choice with a young promising understudy. Let’s say Trafford although I agree he’s not the best ball playing keeper.

Ortega has everyone’s respect at the club and has had huge moments.

He’s the best 2 around, better than most 1’s in the league.

My post was more questioning the legitimacy of the report above which i dont buy.

And just for the record the January signings were Txiki signings, Viana was doing another job at the time.

The genuinely laughable comment though is you suggesting Reis and Bah have been great. Reis has played 45 minutes against a league 1 side and 90 against a soon to be league 1 side and precisely 1 minute in the premier league whereas Bah hasn't even stepped foot in thr CFA yet but they've been great apparently...

It’s not a weird response at all. Personally im fed up of people on here moaning about all sorts of shit. The season, the signings, the targets etc. you challenge them or ask for a response and they kick off. Thanks for proving my point.

I preferred when we were shit and we had proper fans that cared about the club. Not whinging despite having the most successful period anyone has ever seen.

You think the club are happy about our current state, or want to sign mediocre players, or want club legends to leave? It’s football, this happens. It’s all about how you react and we are clearly reacting.

We are not United, some fans on here acting like spoilt rags.

This isn’t directed solely at you but just my opinion about a lot of people on here. I just reacted to your post. If you think it’s unfair ok but we have huge issues such as 115 and how the club are treating fans ie. Season ticket policy yet we have people in here saying an international goalkeeper most clubs would want isn’t good enough. It’s not a sustainable viewpoint and not how we got where we now are. Remember when you used to get excited about signings? That feeling is long gone by the sounds of it and I don’t understand that mentality when we have been so dominant.

If both Ederson and Ortega leave, García would be a special signing. He’s seriously good. Espanyol don’t particularly play out from the back, so he doesn’t make a high volume of passes—that’s why his passing numbers are relatively low.
