I think rather a lot of Crimean tatars (dead, exiled, emigrated or forcibly Russified) might dispute the word ‘always’. among many other ethnic groups subsumed by imperial Russia.

It’s a bit like Britain saying we should retake the US because it’s ‘always’ been ours, except for a dispute about tax and tea.

‘Always’ is perhaps the most misused word in the English language.

USA have final action on our nukes, without actually researching it will be to do with USA controlling the worlds air defence and us having the launch from sea? - why should that worry you?

Point 1. The US has zero control over UK and French Nukes.

Point 2. Supplying arms is not going to war with a county, so if Russia attacks Germany, Germany can invoke article 5.

That being said. Russia won’t attack Germany. They will bluff and bluster about it. Nothing more.
