Oasis reunion

Just seen pics of the queue. Sun is directly on them and will be for some time.

Nice of the even organisers to allow a bottle in though with free refills of water. These are dangerous temperatures to
Be stood around in.

I’m going to hear their dulcet tones filter over Blackley with a cold beer.
Sat in the garden on Crab lane waiting for it to start, hopefully hear some stuff.

Can’t wait for Wednesday now.

Just dropped the missus off at work. The pubs around Middleton are rammed and the streets just as much. Some walking down towards the park now. The mood is something else.

Her pub is rammed.

Tickets are still £650 a pop on Viagogo for tonight. I am interested in whether the price drops or the sellers would rather keep them than sell them for less.
They have probably made fortunes already.

TBH, I don't much care about what people think of Oasis. Everyone is entitled to their opinions of them. What I do know is, the concerts are great for Manchester economically.

I was in town yesterday and went to the Bloc Party concert at Castlefield Bowl. Town was packed. So were the pubs, bars, and restaurants. There was a great atmosphere in town.
It's great for the whole mood of the nation too and hopefully it will carry on all summer

Going on Wednesday, one of my party has a bad leg and can't really walk long distances, does anyone have a little tip for me as to where to order taxis to round Heaton Park. Don't mind a 10-15 minute walk from the venue to avoid the chaos.

To Clarify I'm going to pre-book with lynx won't be trying to flag a cab down randomly lol, looking for a street name nearby I can get dropped off and picked up from.

Depends where you come out tbh mate. If on Bury old rd I’d walk through to Bury New rd and try from there, Middleton Rd or Sheepfoot lane walk down Blackley new rd and try from the bottom there. It’s going to be rammed either way so not easy.
I’m fortunate to be close by and 10 minute walk and I’m home.

Can't link it directly on here (tw@s), but getting the Paddy Power treatment.....
