Have to say this will go down as one of the worst pitches I've ever seen for a test match. It's rare for both sides, bowlers and batsmen to hate a pitch.

5 days in, after baking hot weather all week....no spin, no movement, no bounce, no speed.

Absolutely nothing for the bowlers and the batsmen have all said it's miserable to bat on because there's no pace and it's just variable enough you can't settle.

It's created a great test match still though!

Stokes really puts it all on the line for the shirt when we need him. Proper captain. While there are a lot of things wrong with this side the attitude and fighting spirit he instills in the rest of them isn't one of them. Fantastic cricketer and a leader.
