City extend their partnership with Puma to 2034/2035

Umbro technically don't exist as their own company anymore. They were bought by Nike in 2007. All those great kits we had in the late 2000's-early 2010's The Tailored By Umbro kits the reason Umbro could make those kits was because they had the Nike money behind them. However by 2012 The Umbro division of Nike still hadn't made a profit so Nike sold Umbro to The Iconix Brand Group. Nike bought Umbro for £450M and sold them 5 years later for just £225M.

Nike still held the rights for the clubs who Umbro make kits for and that's why we changed to Nike in 2013
Nike wanted the England / FA contract and bought Umbro to get it

Umbro founded by Wallace and Harold Humphreys in their parents' pub in Wilmslow, the name came from hUMphreys and BROthers. The first instance of a club using “sponsored” kit was the 1934 FAC Final, both clubs wore Umbro supplied kit The Humphreys were City fans and thats why we had a long association with them until interrupted by the Kappa contract then reestablished in 2009 for a short while when under Nike until they sold in 2012 to Iconix

There’s not been many tbf. Definitely a smaller minority of the kits (compared to Nike) we’ve had under Puma were templates.

We’ve been very lucky many of the away kits have been specifically designed for us, yes, there’s been the odd meh one, but there is no matter what kit manufacturer a club has.

Hard to please everyone with all 3 kits all the time. The older heads prefer the plainer shirts and the younger ones often like the brighter and more busy designs.

From my perspective, this seasons (25/26) home and away are decent, especially the away, but the third is the meh one.
By "meh", do you mean "abomination"?

Managed to sneak a photo of Masters, every red cartel board member & fan and 99% of the journalists reading the news of our new billion pound deal

There will be a few more floating down the canals and The Samaritans will be deluged with calls.
Fuck knows what the cartel and their friends from the media will say but I hope they fucking choke to death on their bile.

My mum worked there when I was young and that’s why in lots of photos as a kid I was wearing the old gold of Wolves as the more desirable City shirts were under lock and key

Late 2000's Umbro, please. I'd take Le Coq over Puma. What I want and what I'll get are two completely different things though.
Nah Puma for me, Le Coq and Umbro is Bobbins, think Umbro is owned by shite Nike

Well happy, hopefully means we'll stop spending all our time in the transfer window bargain bucket ha

They have released at least 3 classic style City trainers
I am aware they did, where they Clyde's/States ?

Just mentioning they should release City themed Clyde/States, the dogs bollocks of trainers, better than Adidas Gazelles IMHO

Think they were Suedes and maybe Palermo's. I can't really tell the difference between the States and Suedes but I'll defer to your superior Puma knowledge.

I have a black pair of suedes I wear to the races as I hate wearing dress shoes and I must say they are much more comfortable than Gazelles. I'm mainly an AirMax man.
