Fair enough. But what I said was 100% correct. Just because I've never heard of the guy, doesn't mean he wasn't talented. I'm sure there's countless millions of Americans could say that they'd never heard of Ozzy Osborne. That's no insult to Ozzy, it's just a fact.

For your information I loved the show even though Cosby was found to be a right ****, also loved Different Strokes, The Fresh Prince etc... Just out of curiosity would you be the same if it was a white Guy who passed?

Look back on the comments. I can't recall a modicum of dismissive attitude to anyone of good character or did no harm to others passing. If I have, I'm happy to be called a hypocrite, but I don't recall doing so.

The worst I've done is wrote "Apparently he was famous..." on another thread in irony to show that someone else that is famous in another realm of media, doesn't mean that person is famous everywhere, only just to those that he meant something to.

I don't understand why someone HAS to write "never heard of him/ her/ whatever".

We don't have to write extra commentary if you don't know of the person. Write what happened and leave it or don't write at all. Just the way I look at it.

What a legend, he's a big fella and they usually don't last that long carrying the timber about.

Probably the granddaddy of American wrestling and will be sorely missed.
