Tino Livramento

Very disappointing that. It's going to cost us and I'm now expecting and would be satisfied with a 3rd place finish, but there's no point buying a player just for the sake of it. We need the right profile for that position. This is a transitional season and then next summer we go again and attack the market. In Hugo I trust.

Is Livramento even that good?
Can't say that I've seen much of him.
I'm sure he is......
Very good and will only get better. Much better going forwards than people seem to think here too due to his assists record not being great. Miles better on the ball than Walker ever was. Great one on one defender. Doku really struggled to get past him and he pocketed Salah in the league cup final. Can’t see us getting him though..

@Damien10 disagrees.

If true though must mean Khusanov will be tried there.

I can’t see Nunes being allowed to play there again despite the fact he improved as time went on.
Can’t see Khusanov playing there much. Would be completely pointless for the majority of games where we need fullbacks who can get forwards. Think Nunes will be first choice and we’ll still see plenty of Lewis if we don’t sign a recognised right back.

Bought Reis for 10M more so he can be used during the CWC. Just to loan him out to accommodate the players that actually have to leave. How are you going to accommodate the talents if you loan them out? Basically Pep keeps the same players he told us would still win league if they weren’t injured. What a pointless addition. Reis would probably start for Madrid already looking at their CB situation

Ironically, we moved for him in January because Madrid were about to press the trigger and buy him, but we paid what his parent club wanted.

Newcastle have been rejected by Ekitike, Mbuemo, Delap, Pedro, Sesko and Trafford. They also seem to be losing their biggest star, and Willock was stretcheted off with a horror injury today when they were already 1-2 midfielders short.

We should be doing all we can to unsettle Livramento and force him away from Newcastle. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit if they failed to finish top 8 this season, their squad is extremely thin. They probably need about 5-6 signings in a few weeks which isn’t happening. There is no way Livramento thinks he’s better off at Newcastle when he can walk straight into our starting 11

I’m not that happy with the summer business at all, No RB, No new CB, no new world class winger/attacker, no KDB replacement, Grealish still at the club, and even tho Traffords done, a past it Ederson will still be the no1 goalkeeper in 25/26. No wonder we’re Bookies 3rd favourites for the PL (first time since 2010) and 7th favourites for the UCL. If this is all the transfer done, I give this window 6.

It’s been a shite window considering how much Liverpool and Arsenal have caught up with us before this window. Now they have kicked on again by splashing the cash while we look around for bargains. Sick of hearing how much money we’ve made only to come to the transfer window and to spend it on quantity not quality

I'd give you and the idiot who 'liked' that post a 1 for trolling, very poor, must try harder.

Cracking young player but if we pay £80m for someone with 1 international cap and under 100 top flight appearances (not all starts) I would be shocked - particularly if Dumfries has the buy-out clause and is arguably a better player (I know he's 29, still has 4 years at the top)

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but Porro would have been a monster for us imo

I don’t know which Porto you are watching but I’ve never been impressed with him.

We wouldn’t be briefing publicly that we want a right back. A public admission of desperation would significantly weaken any negotiating position.
That doesn’t mean we aren’t working on it. City are smart enough to use the media when it suits

No RB, top CB or Winger,
Is not good man. I think Reijnders is a great purchase and Cherki and nouri look talented af, but expected better tbh considering we did have average league and UCL campaigns
