If you were of a certain generation you would not swear in front of women and children it’s just a manners thing with us older cuntsI think there were more girls in the crowd than boys for sure. It was the inference that swearing in front of girls is somehow worse that i didn't get.
Answered on page 141.any city womens fans, have any info on why she left us,or was it the manager.
I put forward.....1966Am I alone in finding this massive hype and over-celebration a tad excessive?
OK, so they won a tournament and let's praise them even though they stuttered s few times en route to the title.
But the coverage on Tv, radio and in the press is getting on my wick.Tone it down a bit, please. It's just a European competition.
I know I'll be accused of misogyny, but I am not a woman-hater. The women's game just doesn't interest me, and I can't pretend it does.
Am I on my own here?

To men it feels like manners. To women it feels like paternalistic nonsense.
My Dad always told me not to swear in front of my Mum. The problem was, her being half-Irish, I learned them all from her!If you were of a certain generation you would not swear in front of women and children it’s just a manners thing with us older cunts
I agree. I can fuck and **** in front of women these days, but not kids. At a family do, I said ‘fucking’ in front of an eight year old by mistake. When I apologised, his mum said: “Don’t be silly, he's eight years old and well aware of the word.”To men it feels like manners. To women it feels like paternalistic nonsense.
She had the injury, didn't get back to previous form and I suspect that the manager thought there were better options with which Chloe clearly didn't agree and I wouldn't be surprised that 'words were spoken in haste'. Probably one of the reasons why GT got the boot before other players took humpage.any city womens fans, have any info on why she left us,or was it the manager.
Super sub init. Like that run Dzeko had at the start of the 12/13 season, or like how Pep used Foden at the end of the 22/23 season. Hemp and James did their jobs for 60 mins, then Kelly and Agyemang got thrown on to mess things up. And it worked three times in a row.I'm trying not to be a dick about this, I'm genuinely intrigued.
In each of the knock out games and in the media every day since Sunday, I've heard time and time again how Chloe Kelly lead England to Euros glory and is the darling of the sport. What am I missing? Why was she on the bench for each of the knockout games then?

I guess my initial comment was based on I received a few texts from folk asking me if I had heard what she said? But no one actually told me what she said.......
So I was imagining she maybe made some kind of political rant slagging off the Prime Minister or Farage or Trump or even a great dig at Sir Joseph of Barton! (now that would have been something to see!)
Instead, I discover she "simply" said the F word.........
Truly, truly disappointed...
A little story which you may like. The actress Thandiwe Newton went to the theatre with her daughter (about fifteen or sixteen, I think). It so happens that Boris Johnson was sat in the front row. Johnson was still PM at the time. The daughter spotted him, got up, went over, said something to him, and then calmly returned to her seat. Of course, Thandiwe, all agog, asked her “What did you say, what did you say?!” Still calm, the daughter said, “I just told him he was a ****.”
Whatever you think of a politician, I wouldn't want my teenager telling them they are a "****" in public at the theatre. The guy was just enjoying a night out. It makes the child and parents look low class but that's my opinion. Write him a letter and tell him or something. :)Is that the Nepo kid that's being pushed into TV series and films because of who her parents are...
Sounds about right.

Back to the topic at hand, I received my Lionesses Home top yesterday. I was hesitant when it first debuted online but I saw the women wearing it on television and quite liked it, much like what we often think of many City shirts. They look rubbish online but in person or on television in the players they look much better.
I am surprisingly made up with it. It is really lovely in person.
