It was a terrible night for weather but I recall us having a decent following that night. It was a great result.2-0, Uwe and Walshy, think about 300 of us went that night

Would that have been around December? Have vague memories of sitting in a toilet in a Manchester hotel on a works xmas do listening to it on my radioIt was a terrible night for weather but I recall us having a decent following that night. It was a great result.
My suspicion is that we were strong armed by the Pl to not cause an issue for the good of the brand. And at the time, we were probably naive enough to agree to their sentiment, city’s owners have always wanted to co exist with the PL and the other clubs, sadly it’s always been a one way thing. For the life of me i can't even begin to understand why we agreed a settlement, weird as fuck
If things have gone as we like to think, I imagine the panel must have had some absolutely eye-opening, head-scratching moments. It must have been hard to look at behaviour and adherence to law VS status as the world's leading domestic football league. My suspicion is that we were strong armed by the Pl to not cause an issue for the good of the brand. And at the time, we were probably naive enough to agree to their sentiment, city’s owners have always wanted to co exist with the PL and the other clubs, sadly it’s always been a one way thing.
We’ll never know for sure, but I imagine it’s been absolutely astoundingly eye opening for our owners just how big a set of cunts we’re dealing with
And in time it would somehow become all our fault of course. If we didn't the scousers would have got a slap on the wrist, a warning not to do it again and we would be a million quid short.
They play the long game, cleverer than the cartel with the money and the influence to do so Look at the way they have taken on the PL with their APT rules they will not waste time and money suing a few no marks who call them cheats and make spurious allegations, what would it achieve as there would be more after that, its not a battle to winThat’s been my personal opinion for a long time, that’s why I can’t believe the clubs none aggression policy, it appears the club prefers the lie down and be walked over policy.
Do you think that perhaps at the time we were not as far advanced in the investment phases and associated business plan as later? My suspicion is that we were strong armed by the Pl to not cause an issue for the good of the brand. The club should have reported it to the police as its a crime under the Computer Misuse Act 1990, which would lead to a prison sentence for the perpetrators. IMHO I think they decided not to do so as those involved would have been well known by the club and probably still had friends at City so, they made the deal with LFC and an NDA Not accepting liability but, paying £1M is a contradictionThey were using the log in of Rob Newman, who was still employed at City. City obviously assumed it was Rob using the system. It only became apparent when it was discovered that Rob couldn’t have logged in from certain locations as he was elsewhere at the time. Hence the investigation.

Dont think either the PL or FA were involved it was a mater that the clubs kept between themselves as I said above I dont think the club wanted to see former employees in jail as what they did is a criminal offenseMy suspicion is that we were strong armed by the Pl to not cause an issue for the good of the brand. More likely we didn’t want our pants pulled down by the ICODont think either the PL or FA were involved it was a mater that the clubs kept between themselves as I said above I dont think the club wanted to see former employees in jail as what they did is a criminal offense
Im sure thats a possibility Back then though sharing passwords was more common so, probably more like a slap on the wristMore likely we didn’t want our pants pulled down by the ICO
I can also except your point of view, as a fan of our great club I detest all the innuendo being thrown at our feet. They play the long game, cleverer than the cartel with the money and the influence to do so Look at the way they have taken on the PL with their APT rules they will not waste time and money suing a few no marks who call them cheats and make spurious allegations, what would it achieve as there would be more after that, its not a battle to win
They are not lying down and being walked over far from that
Dont get me wrong so do I but in reality the media are very clever as to how far they go and ultimately if they overs top the mark an apology hidden away is the outcome As to the no marks on social media in general that a horse already boltedI can also except your point of view, as a fan of our great club I detest all the innuendo being thrown at our feet.
But ICO new eventually I mean we all know nowMore likely we didn’t want our pants pulled down by the ICO
Initially but then everyone knew and they investigate and said too long agoDont think either the PL or FA were involved it was a mater that the clubs kept between themselves as I said above I dont think the club wanted to see former employees in jail as what they did is a criminal offense
Would love us to go for Carragher though when we win. They play the long game, cleverer than the cartel with the money and the influence to do so Look at the way they have taken on the PL with their APT rules they will not waste time and money suing a few no marks who call them cheats and make spurious allegations, what would it achieve as there would be more after that, its not a battle to win

Yes. I was living near Edinburgh and had a very treacherous drive back in freezing rain. In those days it was a rare win at St James Park.Would that have been around December? Have vague memories of sitting in a toilet in a Manchester hotel on a works xmas do listening to it on my radio
