There is a steady drip of articles along the ' can't be bothered with this any more ' line from the enemyI wonder if this is start of the Premier League’s face saving operation. Dropped the charges because it was costing the clubs too much and that money should be reinvested into the game. Probably clutching at straws there really
That was largely City's case presented to CAS - the club had not broken UEFA FFP rules - but it must not be forgotten that a major accusation was that City had disguised owner investment as sponsorship income. This is effectively a charge of false accounting, which is very serious and is the backbone of the PL's charges. CAS found no evidence at all to support such a claim. As has been stated many times the charges of false accounting can involve criminal conduct. City's claim is that such charges are baseless (and malicious?). FFP is incidental to the 115/130/64000 charges.LOl that anyone would have thought the club would have simply accepted an unprecedented amount of charges that would have likely seen us kicked out of the league, "yea no problem we'll just shuffle off to National League North"!
City are on record stating they are in favour of the rules but simply deny they broke them.
The Prince has risen on numerous occasionsSleeping Beauty will have risen before this has ended.
Along with a number of recent 'soft' signals imo coming out of the clubThere is a steady drip of articles along the ' can't be bothered with this any more ' line from the enemy
And the cartel media getting into a frenzy with 'city potentially relegated to the national league' 'stripped of all titles and achievements' this was and still is their aim all along , to tarnish everything we have doneThat was largely City's case presented to CAS - the club had not broken UEFA FFP rules - but it must not be forgotten that a major accusation was that City had disguised owner investment as sponsorship income. PS I should have quoted give it to gordon's post but I've actually quoted blueste41 - my apologies.
I reckon pretty much every mancunian has. He's a right lecherous scumbag.I've got a story about that slimy twat as well....
I was out with my ex and another couple in Barca in Castlefield went Hucknall walked in. My ex and her mate went to the toilet and about ten minutes later they returned. Going to the toilet Hucknall stopped my ex's mate and started to chat her up. She told him in no uncertain terms to fuck off and about 5 mins later 2 bouncers came to our table and asked us to leave as we weren't welcome in the establishment anymore.I reckon pretty much every mancunian has. He's a right lecherous scumbag.
"Oh Lord Pannick I think we should pay you some more, pay you some more"Ziegler complaining how much the PL are paying in legal costs

"Premier League also believes it has a duty to protect the integrity of the competition.""Oh Lord Pannick I think we should pay you some more, pay you some more"
It’s a bit late when we are waiting for the verdictI wonder if this is start of the Premier League’s face saving operation. Dropped the charges because it was costing the clubs too much and that money should be reinvested into the game. Probably clutching at straws there really
One of the panel must have said, sorry forgot to tell you, I’m off to visit my daughter and her family in Australia for 6 monthsThese cunts knew this would cost a right lot of money when they decided to kick off over it, so they can fuck off with their whinging.
“New Premier League rules state that anyone sitting on an arbitration panel must confirm they are able to devote sufficient time, diligence and industry to ensure the expeditious and efficient conduct of the arbitration and avoid costly delays”.
Are the PL genuinely suggesting they never thought to check this with panel members prior to them taking the role?
What a massive shitshow.
That word 'integrity' is doing some heavy lifting there."Premier League also believes it has a duty to protect the integrity of the competition."
That's an incredulous statement considering what the PL are doing at the behest of their masters.
My story is very similar, we were out in Castlefield, a mixed group of us were on the piss, all of us were around 19 - 21, I cant remember which bar now (it would have been around 98 or 99) and we didn't go to Castlefield much.I was out with my ex and another couple in Barca in Castlefield went Hucknall walked in. I've noticed that too. There is a steady drip of articles along the ' can't be bothered with this any more ' line from the enemy
You also have to ask whether they want the best and most appropriate people for the job or just whoever's got nowt on at the minute. These cunts knew this would cost a right lot of money when they decided to kick off over it, so they can fuck off with their whinging.

It's shite anywayI was out with my ex and another couple in Barca in Castlefield went Hucknall walked in. My ex and her mate went to the toilet and about ten minutes later they returned. She told him in no uncertain terms to fuck off and about 5 mins later 2 bouncers came to our table and asked us to leave as we weren't welcome in the establishment anymore.
Similar one from me. We were in Home nightclub in the 90s. I think it was New Years Eve. A group of us were off it and generally doing the club thing when Hucknall approached one of our group, and she is attractive, holding a bottle of champagne and two glasses, trying to give her a glass and generally sidle in. Nothing wrong with it in itself but she just thought he was creepy and cheesy. My story is very similar, we were out in Castlefield, a mixed group of us were on the piss, all of us were around 19 - 21, I cant remember which bar now (it would have been around 98 or 99) and we didn't go to Castlefield much.
Hucknall starts trying to chat up this girl we were with, she was one of the youngest with us so she must have only been 19 and he would have been almost 40 at the time. She obviously wasn't interested and made it very clear, he pulled out the classic "Do you know who I am?", literally word for word, I was pissing myself which didn't go down well with him but she genuinely didn't know who he was which made it funnier.
Anyway, he retrated red faced and we were all escorted out with me and my mate giving the bar a few choruses of songs we made up on the spot on themes of how Hucknall's old enough to be her dad and fuck off pervy grandad.
It was funny at the time but it's always stuck with me how wrong the whole situation was, I think he was married at the time too just to add a whole other layer of predatory behaviour on top.
Although I looked it up in the Oxford English Dictionary and one of the definitions of 'integrity' was "a collective term for US-owned football teams that play in red shirts".That word 'integrity' is doing some heavy lifting there.
