Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

If anyone is struggling to add new non members to friends and family it took me ages as it wouldn’t let me add another person. I was using my phone to do this, switched to my laptop and did it immediately!!
 
The first time you use the new turnstiles they’ll have your face. They’ll then compare that image with every time your ticket is used to see how many different people are using the ticket, and what demographic you are (age, address, frequency you visit the Etihad, how much you spend at concessions and in the store). They’ll also check to make sure your face is the same age profile as the ticket being used. Once they have the photo and demographics they can do all kinds of things. Even comparing your photo to your data to see things like ethnicity, how affluent you are, life expectancy. They can feed this into their marketing profiles and activity and financial projections, to squeeze every penny out of every seat in the stadium and more importantly so that they can prove to sponsors who’s seeing their brands to drive up that revenue stream. Data is the new oil. They won’t admit they’re doing this. Then they’ll bury it in the T&Cs of next year’s tickets.
Not if I put my Groucho Marx glasses nose and moustache on they won’t ;)
 
Yup, and unfortunately the 'edit owner' resolution is chucking up the same 'assigned too many tickets' message as well, so I'm currently wasting time and energy ringing the club!
Well hush my mouth. Fella on the phone sorted it out in about 30 seconds and registered my nominees for me!

You little tease Sheila! I think they actually use email account as the unique identifier as I have my own name in my F&F list and think it's when I set up an account for my American daughter-in-law in my name but with my Gmail account as the email.
I’d be in trouble as my parents didn’t love me enough to give me a middle name!!! ( joke about my parents by the way.)
So I’d use my maiden name if I were setting up a second account. :-)

And here was I thinking that we had to submit a picture when renewing the ST next year. What you wrote above is much easier to implement for the club ... and sinister ;-)
 
I’ll ask this in here where do you download the Cityzens match day mobile pass can’t find it anywhere or will that only be downloadable closer to our first home game (spurs) .
 
Tried setting an account up for my Dad. Have the number but inserting required fields (name) it will not save , stating required date of birth.

The DOB is the one line that is greyed out and the date is in it from initial registration.

No way of overcoming the problem as email does not allow to list them with no name stored.
This happened when I created one for my wife. Date ob birth was september 1900.Just email city help. Send image to verify date of birth and they will change it.
 
Has anyone managed to add non members to a child's season card?
I didn’t think about this… I’ve added 2 adult and 1 under 18 unpaid members.
I assumed I would be able to transfer both mine and my sons season tickets to them if they wanted them…
 
Yes did it online but only nominated 1. Didnt realise about the 1 time only window. I contacted supporter services on X and they added additional members for me.
My mate is trying to do it
How did you do it if kids don't have their own login account?
 
"We are currently still looking into a fix for devices that do not supporter NFC... If not we will be in touch as soon as we have a resolution for you."

Just received this from the Man City Help account on Twitter. Those of us without NFC devices will just have to sit tight, somehow they didn't think of a solution before they rolled this out.
Have they got back to you yet?
 
Yes. I have mine and my adult sons on my phone and he has them both on his. If I can’t go he takes a mate and swipes both of them in. If he can’t go I do likewise. I believe you can only download the ticket twice though.
This could be an easy solution to all of this for a lot of people if it's still possible. Me and my son often want to take a substitute if one of us can't go. However, if facial recognition comes in it will knacker it.
 
Just had confirmation from the club that seasoncard holders can no longer access the ticket site for home matches. The only way to buy a ticket for somebody on your friends and family list is to log on as them.
